Kinda shameful that you can't use an EMP to stop the Nuke Very Happy That would be an EPIC battle!

As I see it a small little blast would still mean the missile would fall down in the vicinity and you'd still end up dying unless it's some mini-nuke (EDIT: Tactical?) thing.
(And then you would have "Sudden Death" pronounced loudly by a announcer and everyone gets 1HP and areas of extreme radiation appear on the level or however "Worms" worked now again.)

EDIT: Or it falls with a small "thud" in the middle of the map and can be set off with a decent shot to the tip of it or however it works. Razz

Uhhhhhkay. MW2 just had a brain-fart :\ It's been 1.0.172 for over a week now, easy, yet a few mins ago there was a system update and now it's showing as 1.0.169. How the hell?

Wtf , after the patch i can't join any of the mp games. Everytime there's an error with "patch_code_pre_gfx_mp.ffs is different from the server" and my version of the game is 1.0.174 .

Any suggestions ?

That's the file for the MP related changes I guess, perhaps those servers (EDIT: Clients) aren't updated yet?

Yes they did. At first they released the patch to "balance" the 1887s, but while doing so, IW (the great developers they are) managed to bring back the Javelin exploit. So they decided to revert back to an older patch while they got their shit together.

They pretty much suck. The range has been greatly reduced.

I agree, I actually stopped playing this game. Today I couldn't join any server for 5 minutes, and if I actually succeeded servers were full of lag or aimboters.

BTW, the latency is so horrible that before death I managed to fire half a magazine from my Vector, while on the killcam it has shown me just standing there, not firing a shot. Excellent IW!

Doubt it, my overall ratio is around 1.5, and I generally consider myself a good player. Not pro, not extremely good, but I sometimes manage to do a 20:1 ratio Very Happy, and there are almost no matches when my deaths are higher than kills.

To be honest, i really don't have this problems. If i want to join with three friends, it's click, join, wait and play. We get maximum 2 times the message Could not migrate, etc.

Maybe youre just unlucky Razz

I guess they nerfed it quite a bit. Played a few matches this morning and not a SINGLE 1887er. Even on a sniper map like derail (snipers I have previously encountered all had akimbo 1887s as a secondary). But a lot more tubers, I guess they all shifted towards another easy kill weapon.

Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
