why can i see World of Warcraft v1.1.1 ENG "no cd" out but not official 1.1.1 patch enywhere..or is that crack for original non patched game..??

w00t my copy came today, so I went home for lunch to set up my character and have a quick game.. 6 levels later I got back to work. Good job Im the only person in my department today.. Its funny, when I was playing COH, I got annoyed at the thought of startting again after beta, or just in general. But with this, man, its just as fun the third time as it was the first and seccond!
Im currently playing on "darkmau" (I think).. doesn't look like and NFOrce guilds will appear anytime soon haha..

Just been reading about a bug that caused a huge explosion in an auction house and killed all characters under level 58!
Quoted from the WOW forums
"It was an exploit from a curse status effect given to you by a mob in Molten Core. She fought one with her pet, and she dismissed the pet as soon as it got the curse. Then she called it back in the Auction House and the bug allowed the pet to still have the curse on it. It counted down and "detonated" and killed pretty much everyone under lvl 58 in the house"

why a nocd? the game doesnt need a cd in the drive to run.

Not being able to play the game before 4 march used to be depressing for me, but now I think It's more of a blessing. Shit is so crazy at this point that the entire WoW EU site is unstable and server floods and que's already, I hope this calms down a bit before march.

Well the only current probs are that the forums are down. Apart from that the game is completely stable, especially if you're just creating a character as you can then pick a low populated server.

You're right, but alot of people who have been playing from the start are dealing with que's now, that's fucked up. Then again, no MMO launch has been flawless. |

I played EQ heavy since May 99, and yea, they fucked the sequel.
As for World of Warcraft, I play a 46 Tauren Hunter on Feathermoon, (name Rokmar), but I got bored and haven't played in about a month. Not feelin the urge to go back for some reason.
They really implemented item drops/economy very well in WoW. First MMORPG where uber guild/competent groups are not required to get good equipment.
At 46 I have everything I NEED + Mount + 45gp or so to spare. All from shit I've found while questing/xping till 46.
Also, just curious, are the Euro servers seperate from N. A. ones? Or can you join either? Nothing against Euro gaming population....but the Asians, well, they tend to kinda swarm n ruin heh. Just too many of them (number wise). Nothing against em though, just wondering.

The community has been split 3 ways, US, EU and Asian, and all have their own servers, though in the near future US and EU will be able to play with each other. |

That's because no one cares about EQ2. Want 50$ back I paid for that garbage.

I think the main problems that blizzard are having are the sheer numbers of people playing or trying to play. I don't think they expected the european response to be so strong, although they should have been prepared considering what happend in america.
Still, I have no doubt they will sort it out, I believe blizzard are one of the most reliable developers in regards to their support for the customer.
I just hope they don't lose respect for their customers because WoW is going to make them so much money they'll be rolling in it.

True, but I thought that if he's having problems with getting in all the time, maybe he's hasn't made it too far, but true if you've got a high level character there's no point in changing realm. |
