So yeah, just like the title asks; are WiiWare games emulated on Dolphin? There's quite a few I'd love to try (Final Fantasy IV and, of course, the new Castlevania game!) but I'll be damned if I'm shelling out £179 for a Wii that will never get any use except for a VERY small handful of titles Sad

Thanks!

Again, see the "shelling out" comment Very Happy Besides, she's commandeered my 360 so she can play Lips, heh.

Mario, Zelda, Metroid and Resident Evil* Those are pretty much the only Wii brands I want and, yay, they're all emulated anyway. Well, partially, the RE Chronicles games aren't "playable" yet Sad

I did some reading up last night and it seems a vast majority of them are, indeed, almost-flawless. Sadly the one I want to play isn't Sad

"Castlevania Adventure: ReBirth" gets to the title screen and then crashes with an error saying "Read from invalid memory region" Sad I looked on Dolphin site and NGEmu and nobody knows what it is.

Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth seems to work ok in SVN Revision 4788 using the OpenGL plugin. (The DirectX plugin gives me graphic errors)

It doesn't work. I've tried 4788 and 4789, none of them work!! Why link me to a thread I've already checked? I told you I've been on the Dolphin site.

Thanks anyway.

*edit*

Update: I got it to work by enabling "EFB>GL Texture" and disabling "Use Real XFB" from a tip on another game. Not full speed yet though, but at least it works!

On a happier note; Final Fantasy IV works flawlessly SO FAR. Framerate is a bit weird (ingame is around 35fps and any Mode7-type effects are 60fp) but regardless of what the framerate says; it's smooth, the audio doesn't lag and the emulator constantly reports 100% speed. YaY! I've been waiting for this for a LONG LONG time! I just hope I can find a way to incorporate the DLC for FFIV-TAY.

Sorry about that mate.

Yes you can use the keyboard/mouse to control the WiiMote, or you can map nunchuk/classic-controller to your PC joypad if you want to.
