What was today's playlist update for?
I didn't see any new game mode...
Also,why isn't anyone working on fixing the newest exe to work with the Zero gear method so we (that's probably just "I") could find a lot more games?

Wondering same thing. Still stuck on .166 with zero gear. Would be nice to be able to update the game.

Why cant a Legit player who bought the game still play on .166? Maybe they just didnt get around to updating the game.
Or does steam require 'legit' players to upgrade the game?

So you're saying ALL the players I played with so far are pirates?
I thought only about half of them were...
But even if we update the game to 174 we still wouldn't be matched with them?

The patch isn't the reason Zero Gear exploiters can't play with legit players.

As I said before, you can't play with legit users. The player count on the playlists is mostly gonna be legit players.

I thought that was the usercount for that 166 version...or you're telling me that there's only 60k players worldwide connected right now?
Considering it's mostly gaming time in the US right now...

Plus,if what you're saying it's true,basically nobody plays anything but TDM,ground wars and HC TDM?
I'm glad I didn't buy the game,would've sucked to play the same modes over and over...I wish there were more people in mosh pit

**Update -.166 crack does not work anymore. Use Parovoc .172 crack. works great!!!

Google "parovoz crack"..Its only 3mb.. replace 2 files (iw4mp and steam_api)
I must have played 10 games already..no issues.

Three tiny patches, two of which were simply to disable the console-patcher and javelin exploit, doesn't make it "frequently updated" There hasn't been a single patch that's actually FIXED the game - all they've been is to stop the console, remove the Javelin glitch and to nerf the 1887 (which said patch actually introduced a bug that INCREASED the range to more than it used to be, if you use FMJ)
Nothing of substance. Nothing to stop the hackers, nothing to improve IWNet (which gets worse and worse each day), nothing to fix the map exploits and glitches, no additional content. Oh wait, sorry, yeah; you're right! They added RUST to the TDM rotation! EXCELLENT!
