so if anything is working perfectly, and assume that this is beta version I wonder why Bioware delayed this.

I'm wondering about that myself, actually. A lot of people are saying they've played it and it's absolutely fine (not to mention fun) - so why the delay? Nobody has mentioned any glaring issues or anything :\

It's probably complete but unreleased because the console versions of this dlc has to be approved by M$soft and Sony before it can be released and since most companies aren't very keen on releasing pc versions first as they fear it will be pirated to hell before it's out on consoles we won't see a pc release before consoles (but I guess somebody fucked up and now they might as well release it for the pc to compete with pirates as the dlc obviously is complete and running fine)

crapy game if you ask me , didn't like it ... to much restrictions , stupidity (elf can see a man THOUGH a solid big fucking tree) , no weapon mastery, its a stupefied RPG for consoles... DrakenSang compared to this shit was 100X better ... heck even IceWind Dale that was the Hack&Slash of DD was 1000X better then this .... this whole game is so stiff and boring it makes you fall asleep ... to top it off Witcher that has the same setting/theme beats the crap from this turd ... if thats streamlining RPG then fuck them
they should had stayed with DD and not with some shitty from ass taken rules
if Bioware calls this the evolution of RPG criticizing JRPG's then they should shot them selfs

So now you're saying that everyone who says they like the game, are really just sheep? So that makes your opinion more valid?
Whatever the fuck ever, God.

Heaven forbid people play a game for something other than some archaic ruleset.
Just got done reading The Stolen Throne. Only makes me like Loghain all the more.

When I returned to Ostagar I found a chest named "Mages Chest" which requires a key.
Ive already opened the chest near the tranquil at the beginning of the game so it cant be this chest.
How do I open this one?
Otherwise nice DLC, though too much fighting, too little story. A DLC just for the Armor and Weapons, nothing grand.

As far as i remember "Mages Chest" was a quest chest when you visited Ostagar first time, so i think there in no way to open it now.

Yeah u'r right, its the one where u get the key from the prisoner then sneak in later when everyone is in camps sleeping and clean out the chest. during the prologue.

Actually that sword model is used for some other weapons on Dragon Age as well though I don't remember exactly which at the moment, don't think it was any greater ones though.
(And it would lack the gold/black color scheme which is only used on Cailan's equipment.)

So far the patches have been separate from the actual DLC and patched DLC (Only Blood Dragon Armor so far to fix a bug when female elves wear it.) have been the entire thing repackaged with a newer version number.
So you would need the 1.02x (.b or something.) patch first and then the DLC (As it just contains the DLC data which usually goes to the \My documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\ folder structure and is separate from the main game files.) but as far as I know the DLC doesn't require a specific patch to work.

With methods already known how to decrypt DLCs, it was just matter of time, until somebody actually did it and made "release" of it. |
as far as I know it was released yet.

Hi,
ônly a question:
is that DLC playing supposed to play AFTER the mainquest and I can start it after loading the end sequence savegame? or do I have to load a savegame BEFORE entering Castle Redcliff and starting the final battle?
thx

It's just a sidequest like Stone Prisoner or Warden's Keep so yes, you have to load previous savegame.

The savegame at the end of the game should be usable since it's made for expansion and DLC content based on what I understood from it's description.
(If nothing else it's a good point to import a character for the "Awakening" expansion later this year, heh.)

You can use the last savegame (Group Camp)... and you can complete all the DLCs using that one. Don't need to load and older save.
