Sherlock Holmes 8/10 , nice little adventure flick , good acting and combination of Law and Downey , don't know about Rachel McAdams tho , her character felt a little forced.
The Road 8.5/9=ish since the screener is not complete and the missing footage could add 'something' to it since the pacing somewhere in the middle felt rushed.

i think the point is that we love fantasizing about destruction... our books, movies, games always go all out to the extreme to paint the most disheartening picture our minds can come up with.

real life, however, is rarely THAT extreme... and unlike in stories where ONE person controls the environment, and they try to make it as bleak as possible... in real life there are many people that would commit themselves entirely to saving us, and when it comes down to it, the entire world doesnt just turn evil at the drop of a hat.

i think thats what kennys kinda getting at. if not, then whoops.

@Chiv - i thought Renner was so color- and emotionless... Apathic and bland as hell.
I read that this movie is epic like Private Ryan or Band Of Brothers but, being really polite, it sucks...

Still that's a few hours less waiting for Book Of Eli and The Road to hit the cinemas (in Poland).

Avatar 7.5/10

Would have given it a straight 10 if it werent so predictible. Felt like just about every move in the genre, but with a stunning setting and awesome CGI.

fantastic mr fox movie... 7/10

was quite enjoyable, but jesus fucking christ, why was the animation so painfully cheap and shitty looking? its a good thing the story and voice work was so good that it made up for it.
