peter died as a child and the doc went to the alternate universe to kidnap his 'other' son

I think there's no escaping those Monster of the Week episodes, since their episode structuring so far has been very reminiscent of X-Files and similar shows. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but hopefully they won't become too prominent and we'll actually see the main storyline advance with a decent speed.

Sorry, that's it. I'm done with Fringe. J.J Abrams is just an immature little prick, using childhood fantasy style of writing; convoluted, nonsensical, fantastical plot settings which jump all over the place - constantly - and without any form of coherent narrative. No threads to join his multitude of storylines together, just a fucking mishmash of bullshit.
Fuck Abrams. Fuck Fringe.
I tried, I really tried to ignore the fact that it WAS Abrams. Tried to ignore the ridiculous question after question after question, tied in with yet more threads to a story even HE doesn't know the ending to -- but no more!! NO FUCKING MORE!
Fringe, S2E3 was *the* last episode I watch. Too much bullshit, too little intelligent writing.
Spoiler: |
First we had Lost, which started off fine - planecrash, survivors, dealing. Fine. Then what? dinosaurs? magical numbers that tie everyone together? time travel? monsters made out of mist and chains? resurrection? miracles? a magnetic force binding the island to everything else?
Fuck that bullshit.
Now Fringe is going exactly the same way. The most infuriating part is how fucking schizophrenic the whole thing is! There's never just the central storyline, with individual events happening per episode, no. Nooooo, not enough for a childish asshole like Abrams, who masturbates himself raw, feeding off the jizz of his own - self-labeled - "intellect"
Fucking ALIENS now??
|
/End rant, end desire to watch Fringe.

Dude, I couldn't even explain how fucking stupid the first episode of Fringe was (in the first season). It was so laughable, so many plot holes, so many stupid things
Spoiler: | like when the doctors said that the virus that John Scott was infected with wasn't contagious.. then what the hell happened to the people on the fucking plane? that's only one example that I remember, but there are a lot more, and that's only from the first episode |
but yet it kept getting better. I haven't watched ep3 yet, but sabin, give it a try.

Lmao, the bald guy is the observer from the other side. It was sort of explained in last season.

Well yeah, I mean all the shit happens when he's around, I used to notice him in the first season always before something bad happened (you really had to be concentrated to see him), and in the end the liutenant (or whatever that G-Man looking guy was ) said sth like: they're comming and we're fucked, and I said instnatly: bald guy! And the last scene was bald guy putting pepper on his food

I really hope they're not gonna do that alternate reality warp shit in each episode. They do that = LOST BULLSHIT.

They didn't really warp into the alternate reality since the start of this season. Olivia is just remembering the previous warp.

If you sat down to watch Fringe tonight without forewarning of its “special” nature, you were probably very perplexed when agent Charlie Francis showed up to aid Olivia in the investigation. No, it wasn’t some odd Pam Ewing dream, it was a left over first season episode that escaped and was never aired.
I’m all for all the Fringe I can get, so I don’t begrudge them airing an old episode, but they should have at least put a disclaimer at the beginning.
Spoiler: |
I mean, Fringe is confusing enough without throwing Charlie at us months after he died. (And was Astrid’s hair longer? And Peter thinner?) |
|
Basically Fox screwed up and gave us an episode from S1 that they never aired the first time. Firefly anyone?

they should have just left the episode unaired

What pisses me off (refer to earlier rant about JJ and his bullshit) is that everyone has conveniently forgotten about Olivia's newfound mental powers and prowess. She stopped a timer on a fucking huge biological bomb using just her MIND .... and now it's been forgotten, brushed away like it never happened.
Bravo JJ Abrams.
Bravo.
... dick.

Actually, I believe, or... like to believe... is that they are planning something bigger with Olivia. I mean... the Observers even said that "thing will get a lot harder for her"
But... the last morphing episode was rather... meh... But Walter was top notch, as always. God I love the character.
