I think you can start with disc 1 and don't need disc 2 until it's time to swap.

Oh my god. I thought I was hallucinating with the R. Oh god. I'm still so much in shock I haven't even tried to find it yet. Oh dear.
EDIT: Two DVD's - jesus. At least I'm getting full draw on this one, hour and a half for both DVD's. Oh yea.

This is great. The first Mass Effect I played on my shitty standard television; I could barely ready the text of ingame items and entries - I can't wait to see how glorious the quality is on a proper HD.

5 1/2 hours later...wow it is everything I wanted it to be and more. Bioware took ME1 and made every possible improvement they could, the combat is better, story is tighter and it is a better experience overall.
Can't wait to dive back into it tomorrow.

dammit, makes me wish i still had a modded box, oh well, i have it kinda preordered. Im off to Sri Lanka tomorrow and one of my gf's doormen is security in HMV, he's gonna pick it up for me, staff discount.
