This game is a bit broken here.
First thing broken
Starts in windowed mode and i can't get it on fullscreen!

Second thing broken
it would only let me set physx to low and offers no medium or high options.
updated drivers and added a 8800gts card to the system and set it to run physx on the 8800in control panel but still only allows low and no medium or high settings..

Third thing broken
When i got to the first vertical fire fight the game performance turned to moosh like a slide show of about 5fps..

Bahhh, this sucks coz the game feels great compaired to that trash avatar game i installed to pass time.

What else could it be then if not driver related?

Here, video settings are all set to HIGH, vsync's ON with resolution @ 1900x1200 and PhysX set to HIGH and performance is fine, constant 60 fps.

I can't think of anything all my other games work fine...

when i launch the game it apears to be telling me in the top of the screen that physx is set to cpu.
Yet i have physx enabled on the latest nvidia drivers and have a dedicated gpu for it..

Unfortunately it's a Capcom game, and that means you need a gamepad to fully enjoy it Wink
I tried only the demo days ago, and with the 360 controller was definitely better in terms of sensitivity and handling during both flying sequencies and standard combat

i played abit..about hour or so and i really don't know why people so negative about this game Confused

ok..it's UE3 and it's not the best game we ever seen, but it's nice and the particles after gun upgrade are very nice visualy:) and i must say that i found GOW less friendly and repetitive and here i like the vertical horizontal cover system..cool imo.

so ..acording to one hour of gaming, i recommand this game to anyone who like 3rd person action games, do not pass this one without checking...you may love it;)

Screw this game, tried everything under the sun to turn the physx on and it's driven me nuts.
Resigned to playing without them now.
Is it just me who has no physx in this game?

The Physx installed by the game it's a very old release, infact in the control panel it results as an AGEIA driver.
And that's very strange, but also the demo has the same problem.

So uninstall it and install the last nVidia version: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.1112.html

After that Physx must be enabled in the game options.

And delete the "PhysXCooking.dll" as it's version x.15 something with the latest 2.8.1 build (Which the game uses.) being 2.8.1.x.34 something so let the game use that instead, also check the log file in the user directory for any error of what failed to initialize, for me it detects the AGEIA PPU as the PhysX device and thus disables GPU acceleration so you need a NVIDIA GPU (With or without dedicated card.) or a ATI+NVIDIA (For PhysX) with the 1.02 mod, also requires the latest runtimes linked to in the post above. (Well they're not required but they'll help.)

EDIT: Also check the AGEIA directory via regedit to see if PhysXMode is set to CPU, GPU or PPU and if needed reset it back to GPU. Smile

EDIT: Should also have the new 196.x something NVIDIA drivers unless you already do, various fixes and also includes that newest PhysX redist.

As you can see in the top of the screen
