Bah this is annoying me, I had an endgame save of ME1 but it was destroyed by a ban, is it worth it to replay ME1?

so played ME2 for a while and i must say...I liked the first part better , from a RPG ,similar to Kings Of The Old Republic , to a TPS fest similar to games like Avatar or Army Of Two 2 The 40th day ...ouch if thats the evolution of streamlining rpg then they should have shoot them selfs ... its not even a rpg now its a shooter more like Army Of Two with aggro meter ... was kinda in shock when my fist battle was against 40 robots at the same time :\
so in simple words ME2 ... has become a Third Person Shooter , a mission based game that gives you skill points for completing lineal missions with no breaching paths only different decisions when you talk different (see Game play of Army of Two 2 :The 40th day)
It plays now like this : you speak with someone , then go to kill someone , you are locked in a room with 40-80 enemies and then you repeat the process ,after you finish you get a summary mission screen with the decisions you have made
so yeah from a epic rpg to a shit TPS ... yeah  whats next me3 will be a FPS 
so now the bad and good things:
- Map screen sucks , and well i should say you have no map at all ,when you fight you go blind , not even a compass ... oh yeah but you have "a magical take my hand" arrow when you press your analog sticks to show where to go
- weapons don't overload no more, they have ammo now ... and well a reload button so yeah ... its a TPS
- You don't have no enemy indicator ... another bad designer choice .. you don't even have a hit reticule to show you from where someone is shooting at you... when you are turning this into a TPS why THE FUCK YOU DON'T INCLUDE THIS simple game easing solution
- Graphics are nice ,well better then the last game had ... and maps are bigger but some things should have stayed , like the elevator ride ...now it is a Bink movie that takes you away from the action.. away from the experience being on a real ship
- Inventory system... well what inventory system , there is none ... only "pick the weapon" screen before each mission
- mini games well from "mastermind on speed" from Me1 to mini games marathon in Me2 ... nice addition ... so a mini-game on planets , mini games to opens doors , hack terminals , steal data ... shows the direction where this game was heading... streamlines
- you now can run all the time ... no run bar , and well you have MELEE attacks when you press B
- so yeah not much to add but yeah its not a RPG no more ... but at lest its a sci-fi themed shooter better then Halo
well what can i say more ... if you like Gears of War you WILL like Mass Effect 2 now if you hated part one for being "a to hardcore rpg for a console"

When you use the activate.iso your drive will stay in it's unstealthed state until you power cycle the console. So the second disc will work just fine when you need to insert it.

Thx. I thought activate.iso was one shot - booted one disc and then you had to use it again for another.

Well, its a nice game. Didn't play ME1 that much, and probably should have completed it first. Anyway, are there any "upgrade shops" in Omega? :/
I seriously need something to spend my credits on, lol. And is there really any good reason you should buy an apartment :/ ?

That's what I thought aswell, but that's how it works for me. It's very easy to test it. Boot the activate.iso and launch a wave 4 or 5 game. Eject it and put it, or another wave 4 or 5 game in and you'll see it will boot it fine.

anyone else having trouble with it freezing. everytime i select new male character it freezes at the screen with the big arch thing. i tried it installed to the hdd and without.
im never the one to have problems with this stuff. and ive never had a bad burn that i can remember.
but unless someone tells me otherwise im gona assume i need to reburn it slowly

So. Apparently I am doing something wrong with scanning/probing a planets.
Sometimes it takes many many probes to deplete a planet.
Yes I do realize how it works.
I do realize that you should go for the biggest thingamajig (those that show you there's a deposit. That thingie on the right, whatever it is called :/ ). Is it enough to go for the big ones, the ones that beep like hell and make my pad rumble to deplete a planet?
btw. I fucking hate hate hate Miranda. She's like the Cerberus poster child with all their alien hate etc. incorporated.
But she's not as annoying as Mordin. I'll never take that guy along, his talking makes my head spin O.O

im assuming a bad burn i dont know what else
