Single-core fix.

Game runs better than Mass Effect.

I cant download this, could you please upload somewhere else?

I think it's rather a matter of bioware being complete arses (strain the system so you'll be forced to buy new hardware (check sys req too)) instead of this being a fault of UE3. Just how plain bloody stupid is it to put a 720p movie file as a loading screen?

For any system bought in the last five years that shouldn't be a problem. They can't anticipate people having 5+ year old PC's.

Of course they did. It's just that they've got a deal with the hardware manufacturers.

Yes, they should've supported ancient hardware, they're evil so they want you to buy the latest HW Rolling Eyes . If your current HW can't handle loading and a measily low bitrate 720p movie at the same time, you should be happy new games run at all.

Argh... I hate that! I want to learn more about my team-mates, and get their personal missions, but to DO that you have to have that specific member in your squad during missions, in order to build up trust Sad

*grumbles* There's not enough missions in the game to do that! Raaaaagh. I hate forced replayability.

Oh and I've now been hit with the loading time issue. Yesterday, each load was 5-10s at MOST, now it's bordering on 60s for each area. Not game-breaking, but definitely annoying.

ummm...no you don't, afaik.
You just got to talk to them after every mission to see if they got something new to say.
And once you talked to them enough, they will ask you to do their personal quest(if you want to do them that is).
I haven't had jack on my squad once and yet she insists I do her quest. Very Happy

Well I guess my game is different to yours, because yes you do Razz I've tried talking to my team after every mission, and the ones that haven't been in my party for a while just say "No, I'm busy. STFU" Whereas the ones that HAVE been in my party, are all chatty. Each and every time.

Game question, where the fuck do I find more sub machine guns (and assault rifles and pistols for that matter)???

I've only found two extra heavy weapons and one sniper rifle so far... Been to three cities (with shops), am I missing something really big here? I'm still using the SMG you find at the beginning on my adept ffs...

And I'm also having trouble finding new armors, I've got three chest pieces so far, after 14 hours of game play... I can deal with the armor problem, but I'm getting shit tired of the burst-smg I've had since almost the start now...

First negative thing I've personally encountered (unless, as I said, I'm missing something?). I explore everything I get to, ever nook and cranny.

Just got SMG on planet where you are supposed to recruit Tali. Oh and where did you get the sniper rifle? I still only have one.

I think some of them could also be triggered after those important missions that you are forced to do by the illusive man.
Jacob and miranda's quests I suppose are the first you can do...

Hopefully =) I've only had one mission from The Illusive Man so far (and that was given by email, something about finding an operative of Cerberus) it wasn't one of those forced missions people are talking about.

Jacob hasn't said anything new to me in ages now :\

Also, "low" "medium" "high" for mouse sensitivity? come on.

Do you guys take a stroll in the ship after every mission talking to people? Should I talk regularly with the AI too?
What purpose does the mission complete screen serve?

Yes, Yes and it's just a summary giving you a low-down on the mission success with all rewards given and found.

Missions complete screen is sort of a summary of what you've done and any bonuses given or found (Resources and upgrades mainly.). Smile

Found my first helmet piece in the corner of that asteroid planet's stores, nice to get rid of that n7 armor piece by piece. Razz

No issues talking to companions either even if I don't have them on missions but I do save and reload every time to make sure I don't anger or irritate them even if that means going renegade or paragon even if you lean towards the opposite.

EDIT: Just need to find a way into the AI core room and remove those restrictions come to think of it, that's probably for later in the game though.

Yes. Very Happy
Did the same in ME1 too. They usually have something new to say after every mission...depends on the mission of course. If it's a small side mission, then they got nothing new to say.
Plus visiting old places after missions can be fruitful too. Very Happy

And the mission screen just shows you what you gathered during the mission.

Well Sabin I concede, the mission complete screen is the main "in your face" sign of consolitis Razz . I know it's not a major thing, but Bioware goes out if it's way to make a movielike game yet you get a "mission complete retard!!!" screen after every mission. Ok.

Well, the poor console retards need to know when the mission is complete, so they know their game autosaved and check the clock to see if it's nap time.

Mass effect was a console game to begin with?
