I thought the game was a nice little distraction. It was enjoyable zipping around on the pack and using a 360 controller the controls were pretty good. Loved the way you could go from zipping around then having to land and attack a station. As for not taking advantage of a DirectX 11 card, that's hardly the fault of the game but the fault of someone having more money than sense since there is exactly one game out at the minute to take advantage of that and it hardly makes a fucking a difference anyway.

dx11? this game is dx9 Laughing

Thanks, that almost worked. it set it too high and i had some more effects but not rocketpack smoke.
the visual indicator also still states physx is being handled by cpu and the framerate dropped to about 4fps.

issue you are having (not being able to select medium or high physx in game) is because game installs very outdated "nvidia game system software 2.8.1" and it messes up new physx drivers.

to fix this uninstall "nvidia game system software 2.8.1"
uninstall "nivida physx"
download and install the latest physx driver from http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_system_software.html

you don't need to reboot, just make sure physx is turned on from nvidia control panel and game should work properly now. i hope this helps

I know, I was responding the guy that was disappointed his DX11 card wasn't tested. Don't try to make me look a moron, I'm aware of the DX paths used.

Wow, using the cover system shoot-em-up in this game makes me appreciate the one from Mass Effect 2 even more because here it sucks!

//edit: wow! i did find the solution, all is needed is to skip faulty animation by pressing enter or so... and you avoid the crash into desktop! Smile

Ugh, I bought this game on d2d for $15, and it was a waste of money.

This game is just terrible. I expected more out of Crimson Skies developer
