Hope it'll be as easy to crack as Dragon Age.

I dont get why they are making it free. Isnt this the shit that you got if you preordered? Why would anyone preorder the game then? Arent those ppl kinda getting screwed? (Not that Im complaining about the chance to get the stuff.)

Yeah it's easy to miss equipment if you don't explore around, sometimes you can't go back either, unsure how much I've missed due to that but probably a weapon or armor piece and the usual credits from hacking stuff and resource materials. Razz

Also got my EA order processed so I have access to Cerberus now, actual website isn't available yet though so I can't get any additional content.
(US release date is tomorrow, will have to try then.)

EDIT: Also this guy asked me out (Or atleast it seemed like that.) but he seems to have gone crazy.

So is there a limit to the number of people you can recruit? Because if you include the merc type guy that's going to be available in the dlc you can download, there aren't enough slots for all possible party members. Unless it updates when you install the DLC and you get another slot.

NO LINKS TO ILLEGAL STUFF IN SIGS - DLC IS ILLEGAL TOO

Hmmm so as a vanguard, would assault rifle training or sniper rifle training be better?

It's obviously a mistake atleast as far as the preorder bonuses and CE bonuses are concerned, but the "free" DLC is the usual BS from EA, i.e. "DLFCWWAMBCFTGIOTOIFFFA aka Downloadable Free content which we already made but cut from the game in order to offer it free for free advertisement"

Still playing after several day, tho i'm trying to hold it a bit.. and see if the dlc armors will be available soon Smile

I'm pretty much in a love & hate relationship with this game - i can't believe how much i like it at some parts.. and how lame it is in others..

The good:

As i said earlier..The graphics are good, the atmosphere is great. Nice vibrant textures and visuals, nice shadows, flares and such. Each world you visit has it's distinct architecture and style.

I love walking around and looking at places. I also had tons of great moments just listening to the various npcs - guys just shopping or gossiping Smile Some of them are truly hilarious. Also there are great thing shepard can do in some places - (alcohol ftw ) Those things really bring something to the overall experience and atmosphere.

I find the new paragon/renegade interesting. It's not black and white anymore - like in the 1st part - now you can be a paragon asshole Very Happy Also there are consequences for those acts..

I am also amazed how much info the game takes from the imported saves - receiving mails or even meeting with old characters (rachni ftw)

The music is not bad with some nice tracks, but some are mediocre.

I think that the cities are bigger now, with much more places to explore. Those places could use more npcs- walking around, not just standing tho. I also like the new Normandy better, it's also more organized and easy to reach vital places. The upgrades system is nice as well.

The voice-overs are plain solid. Great dialogs - i never quit a conversation before going through every topic.

Also, yay for more companions, Good thing i don't have to walk with someone the entire game to make him like me - all it takes is to talk regularly to them - so now i can switch them each mission.

I like the minigames, hm i find them easy... i have yet to fail one Smile

Also.. you can have your own space hamster... what better than this ?

Now the bad & ugly:

With those things.. it's like i'm playing a different game... very stripped and limited.

The items - i always thought that a sequel must better the original.. how wrong.
The items selection is terrible.. armors and firearms... almost non -existent. There is no inventory, no item mods, no overheating. I hope the preorder dlc will be cracked soon - because after 20 hours i have about 3 options for each bodypieace..
Also what's with the no helmet option missing - Why they couldn't use the Dragon Age way of handling dialogs - with auto helm off.

You can't even customize your teammates... In the first game you could look like a heavy armored team ready to walk into space - all with helmets and various weapons - no such thing here..

Next - skills... dumbed down to Hell. You can learn extra skill.. so it's bearable - but companions , dear god.. 4 skills. Almost every char has the same biotic & weapon skill mix - Total homogenization. Also the previous game's weapons mods are now skills ? lol....

There is also no trace of weapon stats.. No way knowing which weapon does what damage.. but i guess it's ok - console players won't mind it much.. Also no weapon quick keys so i must constantly have 2 weapons on cycle with X. Again - consolies won't mind that.

Also the highest difficulty levels - are just made to be played with soldiers & infiltrators - every enemy has shields, armor and health -biotics plain suck there. Also (again..) vanguard class blows badly...

The game is way to relient to cover user - i hated Gears of War because of that crap.Sometimes just running back sticks you into cover - even if you don't want to.
Also, there is no crouch button for extra accuracy - i guess console players are ok with that - it's extra button...

The combat missions layout is terrible - straight A to B, no alternate routes - almost zero extra places to visit.

Aside combat- i find the scanning planets boring like hell, - almost never fully deplete a planet - and in the first part i liked the exploration - it was more fun that that...

i just can't believe how washed all those things are - compared to the previous game.. I somewhat i'm willing to blame multi-platforming here..

So.. it's like 2 games in 1 for me.. A great one and a mediocre one.

the official website states that we are actually able to buy the Cerberus network access code legally, but seems like its not available yet.
any news of it like its availability? and whether we can actually use these codes on the razor1911 release?

Oh yes please, would be a blast if they did it in UE3. And with familiar voices. But if they hand it out to Hollywood...

Why ruin a perfectly great franchise with a mediocre movie. In the end its probably gonna be an Uwe Boll movie with Stephen Dorff and Jean Claude Van Damme.

I know, wouldnt like motion picture, rather CGI with familiar voices. I doubt BioWare would do that. If they make Hollywood film I would too be disappointed Sad

I had mordin die randomly too.

Nooo idea why. I had everyone loyal, had all upgrades etc. He just died offscreen right at the end. There must be something that causes it.
