To play this game, it must be stumped on a factory, so in russia and china it's already maked, jap version was nuked too, but on stump it works perfectly.

layer fix? lol just rip/downsample stuff to make it fit on a dvd5 its not called layer fix jesus christ

UHmm guys havent been able to crack the *.vol files yet
The layer fix is for the special way that GT4 is burned on the DL disc by sony. Layer fix probably suggests the way it is read since burners available in stores are not able to replicate the GT4 disc because they dont support the way it was originally burned. Dont even know about a fix, haven't seen anything yet so lets just wait and see.

People have been saying that for weeks, yeah sure, we'll probably have to wait until there's a DVD5 release or until it's out in stores.

you know what it's going to be in stores next tuesday or wednesday, i'm going to buy it right away, i don't think anyone will be able to get a pirate copy to work. besides you just spent enough money buying dvd9 discs to purchase the original game.

It will not work as layer 1 looks for info on layer 2. All DL dvd writers in the world as per now don't support the format GT4 is written on the disc. It's written from within the inside to the outside of the disc.
Only professional pressing machines can press them (HK siver etc..)

sony got smart this time, only one more day woohoo , i think everyone should buy this game i waited two years for this and now i finally get to play it.you will not go wrong by buying this game if your a car racing fan.
