I just finished watching Something, Something, Something Dark Side and was wondering if the season dvds are uncensored, ie the swearing is not bleeped out?

never understood why people wanted uncensored swearing. i always found shows that censored it to be way funnier... southpark was a really good example of this - way funnier with all the bleeps, and same goes for family guy and robot chicken.
but to answer your question, i dunno.

reason i like it, is that it sounds so much more impromptu.. like an accident, and the censors going holy fuck i gotta bleep that...
by contrast, when i heard it uncensored, it had lost the kinda subtle charm that i felt from it, when it was a whole bunch of bleeps... like the filmmakers were trying to be controvercial on purpose, like where every word was no longer just a simple fuck, it was like extra emphasis on the FUCK... just made it sound like it was trying too hard.
but whatever. each to their fuckin own.

I suppose that is because cursing is such a taboo in TV in the states. Over here it's just fucking annoying, everything is uncensored here.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

i noticed within seconds it was PAL.....
Any one/two step easy solutions to re encode the episode from 25 to 23.976 fps ?

www.winavi.com (get the cracked version, of course)
or http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html which is free, more advanced but more cumbersome

Tactical bleeping can be funny but overall why would I want anything censored? It's just pointless and annoying. |
