It's in reference to the missions you do, rather than the time you spend inside the Normandy. IE;

Once you get the Collector kidnap mission, if you then jet off to do one of your crew or side missions first, that has a negative impact.

Yeah, pretty sure. Everything I read about people's experience all points to the timeframe in which you go off on the mission.

Its true. I did side missons and shit when i got that quest. When i then got to the base like half my crew was already gone.

It's about how long it took you to get there. I got there INSTANTLY as soon as the mission turned up, and I was just in time... they were already liquefying the captives when I did. I was there just in time to crack open the pods and save my crew.

It's just an event trigger, I'm half-positive that if you tood around the Normandy for 2 hours before entering the Collector system, I think the outcome would be the same. But, I don't know if doing sidequests and visiting systems adds to the time it takes for you to get there.. |

Don't really remember it other than Jack calling Miranda a cheerleader (not the first time lol) and after that, even tho iv gone trough a lot with miranda she still doesn't want to "talk about it" when I try that option. There is "grayed " out two other options tho... one of them are "be the better woman!" But I can choose it :/

How does my decision to save the council from Mass Effect 1 affect ME2:
I remember that I let them die at the end of the first game, will ME2 just have them replaced with a new council, who will tell me how nasty I was but still trust me to save the galaxy? Or does it actually change the story?
