meh, lvl4, with 5 bronze stars, recon class is all unlocked (of the allowed unlocks)

i am a total noob to bf series but where to get more ammo?

Assault class can drop ammo boxes that restore ammo around them.
Just had a lagfree server for 2 defend and 2 attack rounds and it's just great.

I tried some sniping but with such lags it's totally imposiible to kill even standing target lol.

Great, I missed a new wave of keys. >.>
I knew today would suck, I was at work, it sucked, I injured my leg and it's swollen.

The default key "Q" (squad commands) you should hit this when you have an enemy in your sights. It will show everyone on your team that enemy's location for a few seconds and if someone kills him you get points for it. If you need a medic or ammo aim your cross-airs at a soldier class or medic and hit Q and you will verbally ask them for health packs or ammo packs.
edit: you can also tell people you can heal them or repair vehicles with this button.

I think it feels like a BF game as well. It is a lot more like BF2 than MW2, yet has some of MW2's good qualities, like fast action. Despite the obvious bugs and lag, I see a ton of potential in this game. I love the squad spawn mechanism. You gotta love the bullet drop and shit. It's pretty cool too how you can get that last shot or two off a lot when you die and can sometimes kill the other guy. It's vastly superior, gameplay wise, to MW2 IMO. Once we get all the modes, maps and other goodies, I think it will have some staying power. All my clan digs it, despite the notable problems and bugs. It's not perfect, but it's the best BF game to date and is more realistic than MW2. I'm not real keen on the auto health regen, as this would make medics more than just good at defibbing people, but overall, I'm pretty impressed.

Just played abit, runs like shit... i cant believe that CF HD 4890 cannot run this at max settings? (260GTX was recommended) and HD 4890 is more powerfull than that and i have 2x... Other than that, sounds are fucking awesome, first time developers are using subwoofer properly, overall feels like some console port :/

I can't get it to run I keep getting "The Procedure entry point_except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll" anyone have a solution for this?

Meh. Game is crap, IMO. Just like the original BF-BC online, the lag absolutely kills it. Sometimes you unload at an enemy and do absolutely no damage, you rarely even get the hit indicator -- and then other times you barely fire ten rounds and suddenly you've got three kills.
WAY too inconsistent for my tastes. Looks pretty, but the combat just feels horrid.

Game freezes a couple seconds after I get to the loading screen . All animation stops but the sounds make it seem as if it loaded in . I've tried new drivers and adjusting settings . Can't seem to figure it out though. Halp ?

Learn to read? It was exactly the same in Bad Company 1 as well. The lag was terrible.

I was running 1280x1024, max settings, 1xAA (lowest you can choose  ) and I was getting 45-60fps, which was playable for the most part. I'd have preferred a locked 60 of course, but meh

I run it at 1080p with 1x AA and 4xAF getting like 20-60fps. Game feels laggy even at 40+ fps... Dunno what the fuck Dice has done. (Particle effects, smoke and shit or should we say welcome back sprites? absolutely kills performance) In other words, compared how the game looks it should run much better... Engine is from DDR, need to try out DX9 when i get to home, some ppl has said it nearly doubles your fps without image quality loss.

anyway to turn off the HDR crap? set shadows to medium and turned off the bottom option in advanced settings.

Had a blast last night after the connection to EA servers got better! Found one UK server there was NO lag what so ever everything was smooth Freaking best BF game ever..all the destruction and shit.
Btw
How do you use the UAV? Can't really get hold of the firing system on the UAV.

You can disable the bloom in the setting.ini file in C:\[USER]\Documents\BFBC2Beta\settings.ini
bloom=false
for extra fps boost change DxVersion=auto to DxVersion=9
Get's a lot better now my eyes don't hurt and big fps boost
