It's not that bad when one person does it in one thread but if everyone thought like you did, every thread would be cluttered with off-topic posts (Just like this useless argument).

Why would the graphics be improved? It's the same (patched) game with new voice actors and text lines.

You're so naive! I already have the game, cracked russian one. I don't need to wait for some pathetic international release, where fucked up english audio is! Not to mention missing close caption (or subtitles) for cutscenes.

Anyway, I suggest everyone, get any russian version, use TRiViUM crack (which is also for 1.6.02 AFAIK) and use s-cop project translation (google it up).
The experience will be awesome. Original russian voice gives it much better feeling than those crappy english ones. Also official english translation (which was released with Polish version of the game) was not very good translated, so I recommend - stick with russian version of the game and s-cop translation.

I think that's an asset actually. It's more exciting and mysterious NOT having everything explained to you from start. It adds wonder, strangeness and a feeling of being slightly out of place, something that is important to the atmosphere of Stalker.

You know what I'd add in the Stalker games?
A bar/meeting area where you can just sit down and talk to other players through forums/chat so you can exchange stories and learn game trivias without having to break the immersion by going on forums and stuffs,it'd most likely use zero bandwidth (as much as an IRC chatroom probably,no need for customized 3D models or stuffs) and it'd add so much to the feeling of being there it'd be just plain awesome
Plus coop...can't go wrong with 2 players coop in Stalker

I haven't seen Call of Pripyat anywhere in stores here yet. I'm betting the European version (out tomorrow) will be the one to get released.
NO LINKS TO ILLEGAL STUFF IN SIGS - DLC IS ILLEGAL TOO
