Well, I've got another oppinion about this update. I think it's related to the AvP demo and countries like Germany. Atm it's possible via proxy to download demos on steam that aren't available here. I bet this isn't working anymore after this update...
Otherwise... maybe I'm just paranoid.

Wasn't this game OK'd a while ago (Still banned in Australia though.) but I'm unsure if it's altered or "censored" in any way.
(Things are a bit restrictive in terms of gore and blood amount isn't it, plus violence in general and it seems the "usage" of dead bodies is a major concern using Crysis as a example.)
EDIT: Seems it was OK'd in Australia but not Germany

This game won't get released here in Germany. Sega said that they're sad about that Germany doesn't treat their adults "as adults". They won't cut the game for German laws. So, there is no release here. This happened to many other games before. It's even possible that I can't activate my copy of the game.

If there's no possibility to activate a imported copy in germany they would get in massive trouble. but to be honest: i dont know anyone who buys german censored copies and all uncut games could be activated without problems till now... only sad thing till now is that i think there will be no chance to get the demo via steam when living in germany

What alternative clients? I'dont know about something like that. Anyways, the demo ist the least problem. The proxy workaround will work just fine. It's the retail key activation that bugs me.

If I ever visit germany, the minute I step there I'm gonna paint swastikas on every landmark in the city and I will plant bloody pigs' heads on wooden stakes everyhwere and maybe put up some posters of those mass graves they had in the concentration camps too.

Try that in Berlin Kreuzberg and then move on to Berlin Friedrichshain, you'll have fun with both the Turkish/Kurdish and the left wingers.

Actually they're pretty nice.
"Ey, hast du Probleme??" is what you might hear. Translates to "ey, got a problem?". Sometimes even shouting from afar. I still have to try the counceling they seem to offer, though.

I think this game will not be so great, i know alot of fanbois are creamin themselves over this because avp 1 and avp 2 are the some of the greatest multiplayer pc games of all time but the developers track record is blotchy since then so i really cannot see unless they had massive cash injection

I'm getting sick of telling people that it is a different team making AvP that made Rogue Warrior and Shellshock 2.
