Are you using the D3D9 plugin ? It's much faster than the OpenGL, which is the default.

The downside is that the OpenGL plugin is the most compatible for some titles (faster too, again, on some titles though D3D is generally faster overall) Most likely because the GC and Wii use OpenGL natively.

talking about dolphin , anyway to speed up the game? i get music at normal speed, and get 60 fps, but it doesnt skip frames so the gameplay is actually slower.

The best thing to do mate, is check out the Dolphin board on both their official homepage (dolphin-emu) and also NGemu forum. They're both active (NGemu considerably more so) and you'll get a lot more help there.

Quick question, I'm trying to google it but it's like finding a needle in a haystack, but I want to have the sega genesis emulator (GENS) autoload a ROM. I'm assuming / hoping there is some argument I can give it that will do that but does anybody know? // EDIT // Ah, easy as pie... just used "open with"

Wow, nice! From what I understand from the devs, Fatal Frame 2 and 3 were friggin' next to impossible to get working w/o almost flawless emulation. Fantastic news!

one of the Dolphin's developers said he will try to fix Eternal Darkness soon
http://forums.dolphin-emu.com/thread-7526-post-71097.html#pid71097
Quote: | Yes, I have Eternal Darkness and this game will hopefully be the next game I get working. The problem is a very difficult one to fix so it will require both time and luck. The developers have identified the problem but have not found the solution. The problem has to do with the sync between the Gamecube's CPU and GPU. In other words, it is a timing problem. |
and he also said it is very possible that fixing that game, will fix other games like Star Fox Adventures.

The wiimotes need 2 LEDs for tracking, those are in the sensor bar. So this has nothing to do with bluetooth being used or not. Not that you can use the wiimote without bluetooth

Ok, thanks. I'm going to buy a kit myself, since Dolphin is coming ahead in leaps and bounds now.

You could always make your own sensor bar if you don't want to spend the money on one.

Nah, they're cheap enough to buy from what I can see.. so I might as well just buy a proper one. The sensor bar actually needed to be plugged into the Wii itself, so how does that work on PC?

you can either mod the original one to run off of the 5v of usb (google should help, or i can go through my bookmarks if need be) because the Wii uses 7v for the sensor bar. You can also buy a sensor bar that runs with batteries (i got one from a company called eaxus => www.eaxus.com). Interestingly it runs from 4 AAA batteries, so it should also be easily modifiable to run off of usb if you want the convenience of not having to change / recharge batteries.
Havent gotten my Wii Remote yet, so i cant say how good the sensor bar is in comparison to the original. But it should be here next week =)

Every guide or tutorial I've seen online simply says you need the Wiimote and a BlueTooth dongle, it never even mentions the sensor bar :\
