Peter Molyneux has said that the Fable series should no longer be considered an RPG, but more of an action/adventure series.
This revelation was announced during X10 last night, when Lionhead was showing Fable III to attendees.
“I’m not sure I even call Fable an RPG anymore,” he said (via CVG). “Certainly not a 1990s RPG, for sure. In a way, you could look at it and say it’s like an action adventure.
“There’s a lot of drama, there a lot of story, there’s a lot of emotion in there – but with leveling up. I love that leveling up. I’m not the sort of person that likes being given a pre-planned character and told ‘this is you no matter what’” .
Other than the HUD changes announced last night, the expression system has been removed, with the developers opting for a touch system instead.
Now, instead of frowning, smiling and the like, you will be able to drag, fondle, hug, shake, and more.

As long as there IS still levelling up, with skills and stats and a whole manner of loot, then I'm happy. I loved Fable 1-2 but I'm glad the expression system has gone, it never appealed to me in the first place.

Aww FUCKBEANS!! I am SUPER pissed about it being a NATAL game though. FFS, If that's going to be the case, where you "can" play with the controller but you "lose half the experience by not using the NATAL" then I guess that counts me out then because I sure as shit won't be buying the NATAL.
When I play my 360 I play it to veg out, to sit there and just chill with my Redbull and play a game... if I wanted some goddamn gimmick where I have to wave my arms around like a fucking fruit just to play a game, I'd buy a fucking Wii.

Oh for the love of... I guess this really does just emphasis the intense stupidity of the majority of console gamers. "I don't know..." Really? WELL PAY A-FUCKING-TTENTION TO THE GAME, YOU USELESS CUNT! God, Fable 2 was effortlessly streamlined so that even a complete braindead ass could "get it" - or so I thought... I guess not. Everything is explained to you!
Green = General experience from any kind of combat.
Red = Additional experience from using melee weapons.
Yellow = Additional experience from using ranged weapons.
Blue = Additional experience from using magic attacks.
I honestly thought it couldn't get any simpler, but hey; that's what you get for crediting people with brains 
.... and yes, I'm pissed because I was/am(?) really looking forward to Fable III. I thought F2 was fantastic and I spent 40hrs++ having a great time in the world... so yeah, I was hoping for more of the same, with some new refinements of whatever, not this radical redesign and "innovation just for the sake of innovation"

I have a question. Is the game worth 10£ ( GOTY ) Because my Xbox isnt cracked and GAME is having a sale and im not the richest dude i need some opinions.

I would say Fable 2 is worth a tenner, I really enojoyed it.
You can download the first part (episode) from xbox live arcade for free (IIRC) although its not the greatest example because you are playing the kid, it gives you some idea of what the game is like.
But I would have said it was easily worth a tenner.

With out a doubt, yes. Brilliant game.

Is the save system broken ? I completed the initial part where you get the magic box and you are called in palace and now when i playing it again its resuming from start ?? Broken save ?
