Don't think its totally safe, but well... think there are lots of speculations here, because who wants to risk being banned.
Maybe you you'll be flagged, but if you wait until this wave is over there might be a year before you get banned.
Btw, wave haven't hit Europe yet, right?

huh? You can use activation disc, safest way with 1.6

You mean the ban wave? I wouldn't know if it's started, so far I've never really played online. People aren't moaning in here about bans, so I think the party has yet to begin.

seems like its started in USA and Canada. Not heard of any reports in europe yet tho

Just got my sons xbox reflashed for 4 wave but I've noticed some games are still white screening with the xbox 360 logo like its a media DVD

Which games are causing problems? I was going to get my xbox flashed this week to 1.61..I have already been banned but I just want to play wave 4 games..which wave 4 games are still not showing up for you on your xbox?

Ive burned two games(Modern warfare dagger and tekken 6) but I Have not played them yet since I need to update to 1.61..but now they have already come out with the abgx 1.0.2 version..do I Need to burn these two games again or am I fine..I have already been banned so that isnt a factor, just want to make sure the game is not corrupt in anyway..Im not understanding why those two games you burned are no working for u

I have a question. Yesterday before abgx 1.0.2 came out, I had burned Tekken 6 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2..today I abgx verified the two burned games, everything was fine, except on the bottom it said "Size is too small for SplitVid but writing is disabled, cannot fix", but when I scanned the iso that was on my desktop it was fine..right now I burned Dragon Age:Origins and I verified it through abgx, burned it, and I put the burn disk through abgx, and the SplitVid is valid..so my question is, do I have to re-burn Tekken 6 and Modern Warfare or is it Ok..I have already been banned, but I am scanning these games to verify that they are not corrupt in anyway

I patched the MegaWare release of Assassin's Creed 2 to Wave 3 since my brother's 360 has 1.6 (and no, not gonna bother updating it)... The game is recognized properly and all, but it goes into an endless update loop when I tried playing it.
Is it a coaster I should just toss away, or do I need that annoying activation disc as well?

the xtreme firmware would be perfect for this purpose, but the problem is that it won't work with liteon drives (ixtreme 1.5 or higher needed)

Alright I realize it will get you banned etc. But with the new SSV2 and Wave 5,6,7, can i still just use ppf 14-15 to patch?

Is there any way to do with the 360 like you used to be able to with the regular xbox and copy the games to the 360 harddrive and not have to burn the games on disk?
