Depending on the timezone, here in Sweden it's roughly a six hour difference, though for this game the European launch date is Friday.
(Assuming this is lightly protected though everyone will be downloading by Wednesday, haha.)
It was probably done so that Steam buyers wouldn't get the game sooner than those who intend to buy it in stores. Such an exclusive head start wouldn't reflect well on the packaged goods market, I'd imagine.
that should be the privelidge of paying overprice for a copy that has no box or manual or any distribution expenditure yes seems to cost way more.
Jeez, AvP2 got one of the worst balanced MP parts in gaming history.. the only things I loved were the lifecycle feature (even the lifecylce sucked because of the players were waiting at facedhugged corpses and owned you after you hatched...) and the SP campaigns. AVP2 wasn't that great most of the people are want it to be...

I'm sure it does blow on XBOX. Playing FPS games with a controller sucks balls. I liked the PC demo, despite the fact that it was just DM and was very limited, including no dedi's. I'm sure the full retail will be much better on PC than XBOX or PS3.

Well one thing is certain: even if Gamespot down-rated more or less justifiable the game, it probably won't raise the rating to 9 or 10 in other reviews. So I highly doubt it that, IE, IGN will rate this game with a big 9 score.

I think that we eventually will see that game released. I am only afraid that they don't decide to make it console-only title about 2-3 months before releasing it
Can't really tell the graphic quality from that vid (here's a hint nooblets, record and use the HD function! ) but at least it looks like the framerate PISSES on the 360 version.
