It doesn't sound like a real solution... I dont know why in the hell the official game was patched two times already and the scene don't say/release anything.
Regarding the flashlight, never had a problem with it. Just bind it to another key and thats it. (mine is F) |
NICE ! So you find the solution to avoid the freezing with turning on flashlight? Just bind it to another key ( hotkey ) in menu keyboard? |
That's correct... I didn't have any problem with the flashlight at all. The thing that bugs me is the constant stuttering and the 3-5 seconds freezing and no voices during cutscenes or tha game itself. |
Cool , so now when i repair this freezing when flashlight is ON , all will be stable. No freezing , no desktop quiting , no level crashes....All OK , but something is annoying me. This details on Dx11. I read that ALL details with AA and Advanced Shadowing will be in game after patches? Or whaT? I dont remember what nick here say that. Ah yeah human_steel say that.
"That's cause the pirated version is actually an old version of the game. Since its release the game has received 2 major updates (as far as i understood). That's why if you had bought the game, you would've now had more options such as AA and Advanced shadowing under dx11 features besides tessellation only. And a couple of more options as well spread across the other menus.
P.S. And spoiler tag those images, ffs!!"

Dear lord, it's almost like another boundle.
Anyways, yes, you need the up-to-date game to use AA and Advanced Shadows. As of now, the only way to get that is by buying the game.

You use it to enter vents from longer range. Also to pounce enemies.

OK found these on gamesspot AvP Forum maybe it helps for someone it dose for me.
DMZ*Padre[TDR]: 'the stuttering issue that can be fixed on a Nvidia system by setting the pre render frames to 0 in the Nvidia control panel'
DMZ*Padre[TDR]: Having Force Alternate Frame Rendering set to 1, with the Maximum pre-rendered frames on 0 has provided the best balance between FPS and stutter/freezing so far. I get fairly solid frames (still drops a bit when loading the next area, or with water effects) and the stuttering/freezing has been significantly reduced, but still exists.
This helps in alot of other games, I can't believe I forgot about it for this one.

Game runs pretty good, here, a patch wouldn't hurt.
Is there a way to freaking save, though ?!?!

Escape -> save. Although it only saves at checkpoints.

But its encrypted.
Fuck this game hurts my eyes, narrow fov and motion blur kills me.

You think this fov is near ?
I'm pretty sure it's bigger than the default Borderlands and Bioshock2 ...
EDIT: Does anyone have comparison screens of tesselation on/off ? I wanna know what I'm missing. Are there any other differences between DX9/DX11 ?

That's the Focus Mode. It's supposed to be around the whole screen.

Some fuckers at the steam underground forum are playing MP with the razor cracked files + zero gear method. There is a thread there, no link, and no PMs.
Quote: |
add zero gear id in steam_appid.txt and launch the game from AvP.exe, make sure you have steam opened. |
Quote: | Zero Gear Steam app ID 18800 |
I hope it isn't old news.
