Yep, yep.
New site, new news.
"Brothers in Arms is in the release candidate phase."
Quote: | Since as early as January, Brothers in Arms has been going into the release candidate phase for the various platforms (Xbox, PS2, PC). The game is essentially finished, but the team has been working on the release engineering and details required for a solid, major launch of a AAA game like Brothers in Arms.
Many of you have been visiting our website often over the past several weeks noting the changing work items counter and talking with Gearbox developers on the Gearbox forums. Thank you for your attention. Myself and other Gearbox developers are likely to spend more time on the forums as our launch tasks wrap up, so stop by and say hi.
I would expect a wide press release soon that confirms the release to manufacturing of the gold master for each platform and the final shelf date of the game.
In the mean time, please look around the new Gearbox Software website.
And, thanks for your interest in Brothers in Arms – the wait is almost over.
-Randy Pitchford, President, Gearbox Software |

Just as a little warning for the future:
1) In the future don't relay where you download things from.
2) If it's not on NFORCE yet you should probably stay away from it.
Enjoy your stay.

my opinion about those games is : its suck. Ok graphics are nice and I know alot of peoples loves it but, games like medal of honor and call of duty are freakinly too much 'linear'... one street and you must go, theres not 2 way to get over with... if someone can give me any suggestion so I can have the same 'waiting' feeling about that game it would be cool, im open to everything
games like flashpoint are the best i guess... where its in an open area and theres more than 15 ways to finish a mission instead of simple streets or trails to clear. I saw the trailer for BiA and was impressed at the graphs but thats pretty much it

hahah how is bia linear? there isn't a direct route you can go through, its a real town / city area. accuratly mapped out. you can decide to go through the middle (will prolly get ur ass kicked but u can) or you can just be patient and draw the enemy in. like i said before there are NO SCRIPTED SEQUENCES. if you call "capturing a farmhouse" as an objective linear then you truely are a retard.

These games are mainly made for multiplayer. About the linear thing in SP it's because they are trying to show us what really happenned in the ww2 it's not like a alien FPS, ww2 really happenned and they build their game from what people have say, books and movies. So they try to do their game realistic as posible they try to show you what it was like in ww2. Take COD play the game and read a book about what 101 airborne did it's the same. (for sure they did but much more but the main event are the same)
And you are probably not a war/military/history fan.
Reality is an illusion caused by the lack of alcohol.

yeah well i guess that the retard might just be you, sublime not even one second. I was asking and you speak like you've played it or developped it... a mapped city doesnt means 'open areas' meatbag... if for every missions theres only one way (or 2-3routes) and you cant go far right or far left (only frontal assaults) then to me its linear
tell me WHERE i said that ''capturing a farmhouse'' as the objective was linear? you need glasses, and the THICK ones

well i mentioned "capturing a farmhouse" because that's the only thing gameplay wise that i can see as maybe being linear.

Lol, the overall graphics look pretty mediocre to me, even for the PC. Game has great sky effects, but that's really all.

For devils sake there will be MP so that we can kick some brothers asses on the battlefield
Don't take that too serious i'm joking a bit, don't I? |
I totally agree. Germany is always the bad guy, and sure they were the bad guys, but still, alot of germans fought for their country, bravely. Germany also had their military heroe's and their military achievements. Personelly I think it would be alot more interesting to play as Germany, whenever I get the chance online, I always pick germany. Why? I like their gear better, their armor, their weapons and their war tactics.

Since there are daily reports of what cruelty obviously happened there will always be a historical pussy crucifix for us to carry. There were no heroes, only murdering bastards and that's the reason why people like to shoot at germans when they play games today. It almost seems to be a miracle that i survived one year in England without being shot or a least raped for that big swastika on my nazi butt, haha
*just joking
Nun, so soll es denn sein!
Reiche mir Schwert und Wein,
reiche mir Panzer und Gebein!
Zerschmettern will ich mit Hass!
Ich, das schwarze Nass!!!

well in this game the germans react "humanly" like crying out when their friends get shot etc.
