Who the fuck cares what one looks bettter, if you have a PS3 you get the PS3 version, if you have an Xbox you get the xbox version, if you have both you buy the cheapest (or the PS3 one because its one disk and uncompressed movies)
Those who are interested in the technical aspects care how does the game look like and why does it look that way. I know most gamers don't care and just put the disc in and play. The game is the same and it will look good on both consoles but there are those who would like to know technical details not for the reason to say PS3>X360 or X360>PS3. Not everyone is watching comparisons through fanboy eyes.

I understand what you are saying and in any other medium I would agree with you, but when it involves the consoles you generally just have so much trouble having those discussions because of the fanboys that its not worth it.

Emulating, never actually owned a DC though it should be rather cheap by now.

Heard that line before. Although I "only" have a Wii, PS3, 2 Xbox360, a PS2 and ( currently not set up but still in my repertoire) a SNES and a XBOX.
If I went ahead and bought a DC or a NES for that matter (which I will do eventually) she's gonna rip me a couple of new ones

Since you have a Wii, just get Skies of Arcadia Legends, the improved Gamecube version.
Its an awesome game.
Well you are right but I've got my DC emu all set up on my laptop so I can game wherever I go and though my Wii is flashed and should actually not have any problems with it I find it sometimes hard to get GC games to run on it. I'm pobably just too stupid to do it properly.
That and it's only 8GB *scoffs* Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't FFXIII coming on THREE dual-layers?

Honestly mate? It's worth the hassle! SOA emulation is sketchy;
Bad if you get the Echelon rip because their cracktro crashes the two big emulators; NullDC and Chankast. It works fine on Makaron, but that's a headache you REALLY don't want. Trust me
Worse if you get the non-Echelon version, it has seriously down-sampled movies, horrid swap points, and severe lag in and out of battles due to the compression on audio.
The best way of playing really would be the GC/Wii version.

Well, apparently DC emulation sucks ass (at least to me) because about 90% of the games I tried did not run - found out it was due to them being the echolon version but for the love of god I can't find non-echolon versions because people do not care to write what version they are offering. Well, at least Powerstone 2 runs fine and apparently Shenmue does too...
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that looks like it's gonna be fun! I was a bit hesitant about the new battle system at first, but the more I read about it the more it grows on me
Were two weeks away this is how early Forza 3 was with the console 250gb bundle dont forget this bundle is now FFXIII so chances are this week I hope console bundles start shifting soon no pics yet of any but when they come so will a release.
