wasn't silent hunter 4 the game ubi made the customers vote for a game ending preventing bugs and if not enough votes they wouldn't bother with it.

Yeah, prowling the Atlantic in a u-boot is so much better. Not to mention Gato in Spanish means "cat", and is also slang for FAG in Argentinian Spanish. Laughing

Sorry, I can't drive a Fag-class submarine. Razz

Silent Hunter III was awesome, though. Manage to get a Type IXC eventually, but I generally got bored way before the XXI was available.

yay, better detail land and BLOOM
neither of which were needed.. just makes seeing ships even harder
i wonder if they've fixed the wave behaviour yet so that it's not just a floating layer but reacts to ship hull
or if they actually implemented now stuff that was promised in sh3
looking forward to it though
the command system should be interesting
until then i'll be playing modded sh3 still

Not that is worth much, but Gamestop is claiming the ship date as the 2nd of March.

Gamespot says Mar 2 (NA) and Mar 5 (EU) so perhaps it's the right date

Did anybody here read the statement of the Devs, that SH5 uses the new DRM system? In case there´s already a thread call me an idiot but that´s really interesting.

1. you MUST have an active internet connection to activate AND play the game

2. if you are losing the connection the game will be freezed until the connection is re-established

3. the savegames will be stored on ubi.com server

4. in order to save the game and play the game on ubi.com you have to have an registered account on ubi.com

oh man I´m missing the good old times, this will be a hard piece of shit for the pirate boys...

Yeah, we're talking about the new Ubisoft "service" in the AC2 thread, since every future Ubi title will contain it. Obiouvsly we're all simply hoping for a huge FaiL.

Coop in SH5 in fps view would have rocked. There are way to few simulators where you team up in the vehicle (awsome in WW2Online when you have people playing the same vehicle)

you guys need to let your wallet speak, if you honestly gonna buy those heavy DRM games and not the easy crackable then they get what they wanted and you reward them for implementing it.

I like games but its very easy to skip on games like MW2 unlike millions of others.

Not so nice, canceled my preorder Sad
I will never buy a game for singleplayer where i need an active internet connection.

But one canceled preorder makes it possible to preoreder another game, battlefield: BC 2 Smile

Cancel your preorders people, we'll teach these fuckers ! *shakes fist*

Also, they're surely wasting too much development time on implementing this shit, the game may be even more buggy than the previous ones ...
