seriously ... Canada has been taking far too many offensive chances this whole tournament, no idea why they don't stop and play some friggin defense when they're leading by 6 goals instead of trying to score 6 more :/

If Russia gets another goal in the 2nd the game is still very open.

Edit: Lol Canada been hitting hard all game and as soon as a good hit on Boyle he starts crying. Laughing Should be powerplay Russia on that. Fucking idiot Vinnerborg is the worst ref in the SEL as well.

Yeah the game is over but still shouldn't have this bad refs in the olympics..

Doughty has been the best player on Canada by far this tournament.

Another edit: Well there's the game. BÅG is an idiot.. I swear he does it on purpose because it's his last time as coach.

Sweden too many fucking mistakes and sloppy I hope they lose 5-3..

It seems like Kane got a lot more ice time today than he has so far in the Olympics. Maybe it just seems that way because he was more effective in this game.

I'm looking forward to the game tonight. I'm going out for the first time in a while so I'll be good and drunk cheering on Canada.

Record for a host country was 12, record for any country was 13 (Soviet Union (1976) and Norway (2002)). Before the mens game we had the first record, and then after we had both Smile

haha yeah indeed we got zero golds in Calgary Razz But that was back when we barely won any medals anyways ... we did pretty terrible at the winter olympics until really 1994/1998.

Well also since we knew we were getting the olympics there was a massive influx of cash for the athletes, which is apparently not going to continue. So who knows how we'll do in Sochi, all I care about anyways is that the NHL let's their players play. I too can enjoy the fun of watching games 8 hours ahead of us and being tired at work for 2 weeks! Razz
