BC1's campaign wasn't so long either,since they're MP-based games (see CoD:MW 1/2 as well)

This is a battlefiled game, for pete's sake. What, you think in real life there are no "campers"? Everyone "camps", as in takes cover to not get shot - nobody wants to die.

Did u play bf2? There is a big difference in taking cover and camping and u know it.
When i played bf2 in my time i never camped. This is indeed a campers game. The speed of walkin/running is ridiculous slow! like discussed in this tread. U can't escape well from a gunfight or or taking cover fast when u need a reload. I mean wtf ppls. Compare it to the gameplay with bf2. The battle get that much more intence because i can move flank ppl faster. What i try to say here is. When u can prone and lay down do all movements what we can in bf2.. We get a realistic environment for battle. We can do how we would do in a real life situation. We can do how we really would if we where there in real life.
I mean the freedom. Hope u get my point. This game is shit for pc.
This BC2 shit is just some fucking console port with little time put in to adjust it for the pc. Let alone no prone option. I seen someone say.. Why do u need prone for u can take cover and it is like the same thing. I think lol.. Get a console boy and be happy with a controller. This is a FPS in 2010. ON PC! We need to be able to do those movements and even lay down to be able to make better/different attacks.. I mean cmon..

Fuckin' A. Sweet. I can't wait for next Tuesday, even though I'm still playing and loving AVP and Bioshock 2.

Again with day 1 DLC. This one is even more ridiculous considering it's a map pack. Did they really finish these maps in between sending the game for shipping and the release date?
Anyway, can't really complain too much - more maps is better, and it's free. It just always seems like they make the game, take out a few things, and make you download them separately at the release - this trend needs to stop Smile
Also console version in NA won't have one of the game modes form the start, for some Gamestop exclusivity thing...what is gaming coming to....

There is no difference unless one is trying to advance a situation.. And this stems from real life duties as well..

If your told u goto stand ground for an incoming event one will use any means to turn that into a win situation.. your not going to have the other side whining that your camping with a rifle in safety out of eyes ways at all.. you will just shoot the fuckers dead with any advantage you can get, because after all this is what will make you the victors right?

So if there is an objecttive "one side" only must meet, then the ones defending id say can "camp" as you put it, as much as they fucking want, wouldnt bother me in a game, (seems to for most) but would bother me in real life cause your liable to be at a disadvantage Very Happy oh now i see why the whining ensues, its about not being the one infront Very Happy

"camping" or "taking cover" is just a form of hiding away from an initial contact, or knowing you can hide away before a contact until your position is compromised.. its why snipers move location after every shot, ( or should do by the book ) unless they are relatively a loooong way away.

enjoy camping its fun, it has benefits, and ur likely to be the one getting off the first shot..

So wait, if I don't buy this game on launch day(I'll be out doing readings for work in the middle of nowhere), then I can't get access to the extra Maps?

Retail boxes have a code for the maps. You won't miss out.

And SP? Should be possible I guess?

GG is using some kind of DRM last I checked. May be installed but can't actually play till he's got a key. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway wish I could get a Steam preload already.
