EDIT: time between checking a new release is 1 minute. So when a game has been released, it can take up to 1 minute to show up.

Got this on pre-order, but my performance on my X2 4400 sucked. Want to grab it first to see how it does, upgrade funds being tight an' all. They promised the additional optimizations for dual cores would have made it into retail, as the patch they released for the beta was from a earlier build.

Now if only my torrent site wouldn't make me wait 24 FRICKIN' HOURS... Sad

I guess that's why I never looked into Usenet, I always get full speed from private trackers, my connection maxes at 1.1 mbps ( I know it's slow compared to you euro-whores, but I'll take what I can get )

Seeding back when my max up is 100 kbps is difficult though.

There are also no-ratio trackers you know...Also you can get 1Gbit shared seedbox for like 15GBP that will make you ratio for long time to come Smile

I don't use it, but its just handy for the guys out here. Much of the guys here don't got access to site axx ftp or a private tracker. Thats why I prefer usenet for some guys out here. Its the easiest to get in.

Oh nice, online authentication sounds good. Hate keeping disc in drive. Even better if you can use the online thingy 10 times and the disc method for ever.

Only bad part is, why a release so early, my copy isn't even leaving in days, not alone here in a week Sad

I'm having to run the game on low settings with q6600@ 3.0 ghz,8800gts, 4gb ram

Although i've had my computer for over 2 years now that's pretty baaaaad

I attempted to switch to high settings to see how it did look even though i knew it would be shitty frame rate galore, yet it crashed me to the desktop... argh, and that aint even the highest settings, there's a higher one called advanced.

Advanced = advanced settings, as in change individual things to low/medium/high.

High from menu turns on AA/AF too, if I remember correctly, though no AA for DX9.

Hehe.. Hmm what can it be.. maybe conflicts with my BETA that I've still installed? Don't think so though, but EA is stupid enough to let it conflict.

EDIT: Okay that wasn't it as expected. Uninstalled the BETA and got same problem.
