Am I the only one still having mouse issues ingame after copying both the text as the crack files?

In menu mouse works great...but ingame it doesn't get recognized...even says in beginning "N/A N/A to look around" instead of "MOUSE to look around"....

keyboard works fine

Does anyone know where the config file is located?

Yes you are the only one having that issue , and we do not care as we are busy playing the game!

Config files are in your documents folder -> BFBC2.
I didn't have any issues with controls. And for those still not copying the text files, just how many times it needs to be told? Smile

Thank you for this.
Deleting the BFBC2 folder and letting the game regenerate a new one fixed it for me!

You don't need to worry bud; the game actually runs great (40-50fps) with my ancient e6600(3ghz)+4870(1gb) at medium/high details, AA2X Wink

C2D E6750 @ 3.2 Ghz, with Ati 5870....
As said before 1080p with 4xAA, 16xAF, HBAO on, all settings high....
Fps 45-60, almost never goes below 45 averaging at 50+ and feels incredibly smooth compared to the beta. So for the SP part at least, dual cores handle it fairly well.

I'm pleasantly surprised. I wasn't even gonna grab this thinking, if it did have single player it would be just some Bot matches, which I never really seem to enjoy all that much.

But this one has a "for real" single player campaign that looks pretty freakin awesome. Although the action seems to get taken over by cutscenes a little too often in IMHO, kinda throws the pacing off...Still pretty cool.

Averaging in the 50's with a Q9650 Quad Core 3.0 Ghz, 8Gb Ram, SB Xfi Gamer, 2-ATI 4850's in Crossfire 1920x1080 Everything on high except, 2x AA 8xAF. plays nice considering all that's going on in the game.

Ingame cutscenes are a little distracting, that's true. Mainly because the game doesn't flow in and out of them as smoothly as it could. Some better transitioning could go a long way to make it feel less out of place.
As it is right now, it's like you flash in and out of them, feels a little disjointed, especially when they are very small, so as a result they break the flow of the game.

Mouse Problems? Unplug any controllers cordless or other wise. Then go into game options MOUSE Sensitivity 0.65
YAW 0.40
PITCH 0.40
MOUSE ACCELERATOR X in box

These settings worked for me....try different ones for your mouse, but it is critical you get rid of any controllers plugged in.

There seems to be a lot of backlash on IGN for their "low" 8.9 review score, complete with Hitler videos.
They do have a point though, IGN scored BC2 lower than MW2 on graphics and sound. If gameplay can be subjective; graphics...well BC2 seems to look much better to me, but again this could be different for others... but sound? Out of all things what you definitely can't compete with what DICE sound devs did with the audio in the game.
Anyway, it doesn't bother me too much, but I guess people really want to get rid of that MW2 admiration.

its always funny how people get so worked up about review scores, especially when it comes to fanboys. They always expect a 9.9/10, anything below is a shit review and the reviewer must be tarred, feathered, staked, burned and fed to the sharks with lasers.
