Well you do have a SAW but I haven't really seen anything and that green one looks mischeviously a lot like an AK.

Graphics are great and all but why is it so bright? I'm on the second mission (snow) and I can't see shit because of the glare.

Oh lol, what? Every weapon in this game is a real one. You start the game with an american weapon, the XM8.

Well, guess I heard something wrong then. Isn't the first time. Might have gotten games mixed up.

That's because of the low field of view... :\ They said it will be possible to change it in the full game, so probably in 0-day patch.

Played, finished, bought it.

Not to mention that during the ATV race, one of guys says that he would have won if they were on snowmobiles. Sarge promptly responds with "Snowmobiles are for sissies". Razz

I thought it lets you choose the language on install. There were plenty of choices, and I think I saw some screens with foreign subtitles.

Unless you have a legit key, most likely not.

ok im wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind on this game... i was flat out ignoring it because i thought it was a kinda real time tactical strategy type game, but just saw a trailer and it looked like a fps war shooter/third person type game, so now im kinda interested....

someone give me a quick summary - is game fun, is game pretty, and how does it compare to mw2 (mw2 comparison because it really was an amazing gameplay experience) - all in all, is this an omg-wtf-why-havent-you-already-got-it game, or is it a pretty-good-if-you-dont-have-something-better-to-play game.

Definitely the former. Except I would also add "omg wtf I can't believe you haven't heard of the battlefield series".

well thats the thing... the old timey mutliplayer battlefield game i know of.. the modern day multiplayer battlefield game i know of, the futuristic mutiplayer battlefield game i know of... its just the 'bad company' bit that threw me off.. for some reason it had me thinking of company of heroes (dunno why, but it did)

this IS an exclusively single player focused game though, yes? none of that wishy-washy 2 hour single player campaign, claiming the focus was on mulitplayer (ala mw2...)

Well Battlefield was always about multiplayer. This in no different. Except it has a much better SP part than the previous battlefield games. I would say that in this regard, it's exactly like MW2. MP is the focus, but SP is not bad at all.
Gameplay wise, it's better than MW2 for me though. It's definitely better on the technical front as well.

The single player is OK but i don't know anyone who is that bothered in playing the campaign, i pre ordered the game thinking it was a MP only game, and compared to MW2, it's a far better.

Actually, according to the mission selection screen, it's 13 missions.
