Tried for the first time this starforce nightmare tool
installed trackmania sunrise demo, downloaded mini image
1) mounted mini image with latest daemon tools
2) disabled cd roms (no cd rom in "my computer", except the virtual)
3) launched sunrise exe file, still got "insert cd" error
what did I do wrong? it should work as other people have reported it

This is all great and all to see a workaround for StarForce, but you guys do realize that the groups still wont release SF-protected games if they can't crack them, themselves right?
I wouldn't geek out about this program too much, although it does deserve recognition for those who have purchased StarForce protected games and have made copies. Just know that you aren't going to see any of the groups release more SF games because of this workaround.
dyn IP addys, subnet & mac spoofs, email routing, and if all else fails, wi-fi. banned? lol, its more like brb. =p

Well with ToCA 2 i mount the mini-image coming with the DVD, click "disable CD" with starforce nightmare, start the game and everything works fine.

and that's exactly why the BS 'holier than thou' atitude really needs to stop from these people. It's one thing to defend from fake releases, but to 'nuke' something because it's 1mb off the 'proper' limits, or you don't have a crack for it is just bullshite. They have sites that we can get cracks from, they have programs that defeat SF. If you're going to rip off a game and post it, just do it damnit.
I still can't find anything for superpower 2, but I managed to find d-day just fine.

I used starfuck and it worked fine. I've since deleted the game from my HD though so beyond going through the dialog boxes in starfuck to select the mini image, and the actual game.

What the hell. I (and I bet more people too) do not give a shit about which group cracked the game, is the release compliant with "rules", is the crack stolen or not and all the other bullshit as long as we can play the game.

Have successfully tried the following games with Starforce Nightmare:
- Chaos League
- D-Day
- TOCA Race Driver 2
- Soldiers: Heroes of WW II
- Beyond Divinity
The only game I am still having probs with is FIA GTR Racing....

SOLDIERS IS WORKING HERE, with the latest patches ...
Just install the game, put the mini-image on the virtual drive and run the game
