I am stuck on the part where you are looking down on the enemy's and there is a supply drop on the hill , if you go left you get the message , marlow enemy has this area covered with mortars check you're map.The objective is to find the detention facility but i can't go anywhere off this hilltop.

This part

Favorite weapon might be the AN94. That SPAS12 with slugs is pretty sexy too.

Where's FN? I can only think of Finland but I can't imagine them creating such an awesome weapon. Surprised

Nevermind that, I'm a moron for not googling it. >.<

Well, maybe FN must have some serious industries in US. If this is the case, should war comes up, US would just tell FN to shut up, fuck themselves, and would use the machinery to produce their guns Very Happy

You should be able to go past the crate on to your right, down the hill, if I remember it correctly. If there's nowhere to go, it must be a bug. Have you tried reloading your save?
Look at the map, it shows the areas that are accessible.

How is the full game performance wise compared to beta? Does it still work like crap on dual core systems?

Beta always ran gloriously for me (E7200 @ 3.6Ghz) and this was no exception, perfect play from start to finish; max settings and averaged between 45-60.

As said before 1080p with 4xAA, 16xAF, HBAO on, all settings high....
Fps 45-60, almost never goes below 45 averaging at 50+ and feels incredibly smooth compared to the beta. So for the SP part at least, dual cores handle it fairly well.

I see. Me and a few friends had kinda awful performance in beta with our dual cores ranging between 5000-6000+ and high end cards(XFX 8800GT, 8800GTS etc.). Guess it's different for each PC.

People were posting before that BC2 doesn't seem to like AMD dual cores, don't know if there are any real facts behind that.

That wasn't due to the CPU, but rather the GPU. I'm sorry bud, but 8800GT and 8800GTS are definitely not high-end, they're barely mid-range these days :\ BC2 is a very GPU intensive game, so if you want smoother gameplay at decent settings.. you're going to need something with a bit more bite.

I think it's more intended to set the stage for the multiplayer, or at least that's how I took it.

Well Port Valdez map is set in Alaska, so it could seem like MP was sort of a continuation. But I think that's about the only map set in the US. I am pretty sure they are planning for a sequel.
With BF3 on their plans next, it might be even a longer wait though.
