It's ok-ish. Although the animations are not that fluent/correct. The main mistake with the game is that matches are played until one team scores 5 goals. Losing 4-5 after 17 minutes, with keepers making impossible saves, then seeing you had 47 shots on target makes you "bah".

There seems no other way to score then do a trick, shoot. Passing gets you nowhere, same story when it comes to crosses. The gamebreaker idea doesnt really fit the game imo and they are not that spectacular. The graphics are ok. Nothing jawdropping, nothing annoying. The commentator isn't annoying/is silent most of the times.

The gameplay is in no way deep. Even for an arcade game, there is like no learning curve. I doubt this game will grab me, but will surely try it 2 or 3 times more.

until then i give it a 6 or 7 outta 10

First game I've ever had problems burning, wasted 3 discs so far, they keep getting a wierd burn mark on the disc, the first one burnt and I popped it in, as usual but it jumped like crazy during any fmv/music and I managed to get it into game and score but the replay crashed with freeze/motion/freeze etc....

Anyone else had problems burning or found a solution?

Using Stomp Recordmax I had to change the image file option from cd mode2 xa to mode1 dvd to get the iso to burn properly. Worked no problems after doing that, I think the game may need patching for older mod chips tho as I dont think the xbe is retail signed

can someone fill me in on how to do those special super shots at the goal the opponents always do when theire combo-meter is full?
you know when the player gets surrounded by fire and stars and crap when he shoots (EA overdone totally unrealistic in every sense possible-style)

god i wish to rant on and on about how EA, and EA BIG in particular ruined so many games with theire effects and gameplay that belongs in a kiddiegame.. they oghta keep to producing spongebob and nemo kind of games, GAH. >Sad
oh well, sooner or later EA will go under with the rest of the world by wars, nukes, global heating or something else. just hoping i get to live to that day. DAMN will it be sweet!

Are you for real Dirtpaw?
If you want ralism why did you even bother with this game?
EA BIG only make these kind of games, that's why it's EA BIG and not EA sports so if you dont want arcade like sports games why dont you just skip it?
I dont play realistic soccer games since I dont like them. And I dont complain at them with dumb comments like "GOD why do ea sports and konami have to destroy every soccer game they do with this realism, it's so stupid".

This game is more fun than any real soccer game ever created in my opinion. This is meant to be fun and that it is. I hate both real basketball games and real soccer games, it's just so incredible booring, but both nba street and fifa street are incredible fun.

concidering what i said about "EA overdone totally unrealistic in every sense possible-style" i meant the visual effects in all of the games. even if a game is supposed to have an arcade feeling it does not have to look like it's not realistc. if they'd release a game picturing say a dark and disturbing thing, like the Manhunt game - they'd still make it in a variety of warm colors, sparkling and shining for no reason at all, probably to appeal to the youngest audiences.

example: Sled Storm, an old snowmobiling game released for PSX in 1997 - it wasn't very realistic, but it looked realistic. kickass game that totally appealed to me in every way. 2004 - EA has bought the rights to the game (i think that's what happened) and had theire EA BIG studios develop the sequel/remake for the times next-gen consoles (ps2/xbox). KAPOW adds sparkling shining colors and cartoonish design to everything, glowing flames shoots out of the exhausts and so on. get my point? no? well i can't come up with a better example nor explain it better. i do know that arcade-style games aren't supposed to be realistic, and i enjoy arcade games just as much as anybody else. but EA and EA BIG just have a way to fuck it up.

Excuse me if my capabilities to express myself is lacking, I did my best Wink

The street games are on a much higher level of arcadish gameplay than any other sports game with arcadish gameplay. And because of this they shuld look arcadish aswell. I think it would suck alot if the extreme moves were there but not the arcadish visuals to back it up Smile

And I dont agree with you that they fuck it up. They still have their own EA sports games in the form of fifa, nhl, nfl and nba, so it's plenty of realistic sports games for those that want that. The street games is just something else and not meant to replace the real sports games.
If EA replaced all the other sports games with the street games I would have agreed with you that they fuck the games up, but they dont, and I'm sure they have no plans on doing so Smile

i guess this all comes down to different oppinions, for me the visual effects i mentioned is enough to fuck a game up for me Very Happy

I really enjoy Fifa Street, maybe even more than realistic true-to-reality soccer games, but honestly, i can't stand some of the visuals Mad

Yeah ofcourse, you are more than free to think so Smile

Although, the visuals are more extreme in, for example, nba street.
Dunno about nfl street since i haven't played that.

yeah Pro Evo 4 still does it for me. this did supply some gaming for an evening or too.. the talk over is annoying, the music is annoyingm, and the goal keepers are amazing. the graphics are good. despite this, i would still say this game is better than Fifa 2005, but not in the same league as Pro Evo 4
