I don`t get it 90% of games are released first in US then EU and then in Russia etc. remaining 10% are games made by by EU or eastern countries. Why AC and AC2 were/are released earlier in Russia and last in US ? Don`t get me wrong i don`t have anything against russians but russian language and cyrylic aren`t exactly universal Smile

The russian version doesn't have english voices so the scene wont bother cracking it

Chill out guys wait a few more days for retail

Protection remains the same, so this is the fastest way to get a crack out. They might wait for an english version to make a release, but that doesn't mean they won't be working on a crack till then.

But what if they will be waiting for US release two more weeks ? There were many english language games that were available in europe but real cracks and releases by rld, razor etc. were made only after US premiere which sometimes were months of waiting

That's true. It might not be considered a "proper" release, but if it will work - who cares.

They convert the prices directly most of the time (Depending on your location.) so the price differs a bit per region.

Prices are usually determined by the publishers, not Steam. I don't know their reasoning for making prices higher, perhaps because publishers have to pay Valve some amount for using the platform.

It used to be cheaper for me to buy from steam, because prices were in USD and currency rates were favorable for me - it was significantly cheaper then buying games locally. But ever since they introduced their ridiculous USD=EUR system, that advantage is gone. They could at least apply normal conversion rates...

Come to think of it, if a guy does some kind of attack on the UBIserver, I guess he can prevent thousands of people playing their legally bought single player game, if that happens I will LMAO Very Happy

Someone should make a little DDOS utility to target the IPs and ports that are used by the game, and we'll all keep it running in the background, so Ubisoft fails hard.

Game protection initially consists of only a disk check as far as i know. When the game's released officially in friday, the servers will be up and running. This is what i've understood thus far.

How do you know that the servers aren't up and running? This seems to confirm that they are...
