Ive found some crack with instructions
1. Copy "UbisoftGameLauncher.exe" in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\
2. Copy "AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe" in main folder
3.Play
And it works

i wouldnt be saying ubifail etc etc untill this is properly cracked ie: not disconnecting the internet, not following 15 steps to get it to play without saving.
hold your insults untill we have a scene release.

Well, I won't wait for scene release if some kind of loader or other fix get's released quickly. Remember that certain games has never been cracked fully by the scene standards.
Take Chronicles of Riddick : Dark Athena, that was circumvented by Darkc0der with a loader and it works fine, but that is not accepted by the scene groups.
So I wonder why the Scene groups never cracked it, maybe it's just too well protected like Splinter Cell 3, and if you want a scene release you may have to wait a while.

Are you blind?! The crack needs only the Animus issue addressed and english text. There is no need for 15 steps -disconnect from the internet - rolfmaocopterpilot bullshit you are talking about...

I thought that scene doesnt even try to crack it cuz atari has a finanses problems in this moment.

Dont get me wrong I want to see Ubi fail in the worst way too, and i know that this release may never be scene stardard, but at least a loader is 1 step instead of 15, I can cope with that.
What Ubi fails to realise is that if you release a great product with solid SP and more importantly MP aspects then the game will still be pirated BUT alot of those people pirating the game will buy it, if its a great product.
on the other hand, If you hold off release for half a year to boost console sales, advertise your using a draconian DRM, then all your doing is issuing a challenge.
Its basic human reaction "dont touch the wet paint" and you go ahead and do it, "our protection is hardcore and uncrackable" people will go over the odds to crack it first.
bottom line: release a great product and at least some % will buy it to show support
piss on people and you better expect to be pissed on yourself
Bad company was great, downloaded it and I've got it preordered, perfect example.
