Well, to be fair, I bought BC2 because it is an MP game, and you can play mp games without any hassle only if you have it legit (discounting cracked servers). And being an MP game it also has more replay value, so buying is more justified. SP game, no matter how good, will never have as much replay value.

The first reason is exactly why Ubi is going for constant internet access - to make SP use the same protection as the MP games.

Rolling Eyes The DRM is stupid, sure, but is it really that different than Steam? Now sure, you have an offline mode in Steam, but you still need to come online once a month to use offline. So who cares, I use Steam on a daily basis, and my net connection almost never refuses to work. It's a huge hit to me as a customer, but not something I can't bear. Besides, it's most likely that they'll remove the protection in upcoming patches, like in Anno.

If it crashes when Lucy wants you to go to the Animus, it's less than a minute of gameplay really. Laughing

How am I a turncoat, I said right from the fucking beginning I will buy this game. Rolling Eyes

And you know it's bad when you actually need to JUSTIFY buying games. Hell, I bought MW2 and had LOTS of fun with it. You can smack me with your ballsack now. Rolling Eyes

Out on Gamersgate (preload, full minus activation serial.) I'll upload the voice and text files once I've found them, and whatever else might differ from the Russian version.
(Will be interesting to test the ongoing crack against this as well.)
