So there are no reasons why this is a technically better blu ray then other than it has an LCD screen? Uh huh. The PS3 controller can be used as a remote BTW so that doesn't count either mortibus.
And being £200 cheaper is irrelevent. He stated that the PS3 was the best blu ray player available for under £350. If you know of a player that's under £350 that is better in terms of features and technical specifications then please let us know. Being cheaper doesn't make it a better player from a technical standpoint.
And just for the record, I don't know if there are players under £350 that are better than the PS3. It's just that you seemed so sure in your response that I was hoping that you would be able to share your knowledge with us.
Maybe you just misunderstood Cohen's post.

lol how is the 200e cheaper is irrelevant? for u maybe 
u don't need 8 core cpu to play bd films, so in terms of price vs performance standalone player wins, if i need just a bd player i'll get standalone one, if i need bd player+video game console i'll get ps3 (when it's hacked, if ever ), atm i barelly even use my 360 anymore, 99% of the games come to pc these days which is cheaper to maintain than ps3+overpriced games, even with upgrades, quad+ decent gfx card rips off any consoles head off, in terms of visual and performance
hell i can get myself some cheap bd rom which will last longer than any standalone or ps3 and voila u get yourself pc bd player cheaper than anything out there, altho i'm pretty satisfied with bd rips atm 
p.s. not to mention $ony's latest fuckup

Sony owns blu-ray as you know, and theyve said on countless occasions the PS3 is fitted with the best quality blu-ray players around for half the price. PS3 slim has an even better blu-ray player apparently |

In a dark room yes it looks as good as an lcd. Two bells they are marvel legends and halo action figures on the top shelf. As for the screen I made it my self cost me about 40 in materials. Also the hd66 is 3d ready and its only 50 dollars more.

Too much light there, you cant see a damn thing. I got an epson tw200 myself but i need to buy a new lamp. That's expensive shit man!

First pic is the lights off second pic is to just show the screen. Gameroom is much better organized now and yes the bulbs are expensive mine blew out but optoma replaced it free of charge even though the 90 had expired.
