If you mean if there's a scene release yet. No there isn't. Hopefully we'll have AssCreed today.

Just got the key, no delay here, odd for Steam though.

EDIT: Finished the introduction sequence, performance is great and it's pretty good so far although most would already know this from playing the console version.

EDIT: Haha.

EDIT: Intro images.

EDIT: Various cutscene sequences.

EDIT: Interesting facial expressions come to think of it, here's two more.

That, and the sooner a crack is available, the more it screws Ubisoft. An early crack and a successful DDoS of their servers would make my day.

*Something* has to convince PC games publishers to go the way of the music industry and ditch DRM.

Hmm, I can't help but think that maybe Silent Hunter 5 has another variation of the UbiDRM since it is cracked that quickly.
Yeah I know it sounds strange but I guess it would be a smart move by Ubi if they want to test their new DRM.

A bit like the when the US dropped the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki (one bomb was a Uranium bomb and the other was a plutonium bomb so afterward they could measure the differences) I know, it's a sick comparison but that was the first thought in my head Very Happy

Maybe but this time the game is already cracked in some way lets say 40/50% It passes ubi constant internet connection requerment and you can actually play but there still triggers.I think is different from Splinter Cell

Nice screens beckman now we know its out in the steam.Skidrow on the move now

That's from Gamersgate although the US Steam release is also out and maybe the EU one as well as it's released today on the fourth, still Skidrow did crack the SH5 release patially (The latest couple of posts seems to confirm it has a few bugs.) so they might be able to tackle AC2's protection system as well as it's similar.

Maybe but if its crack related they will fix it.There is no game that has a scene release and its not fixed 100% working.

SH 5 i think was released on 2 March and it was cracked after one day. They will need some time to bypass all the triggers and shit with AC2.I'm waiting the release i no more than two days from now on

Ofcourse it will be cracked and though it might take some time I guess it'll be seen as a challenge so there will be people working on it, Skidrow already did quite a bit on SH5 so it's not unbrekable or anything.

And sure I might own the games but I look forward to being rid of the protection as well once it's completely removed and defeated. Smile
(These triggers might pose a slightl issue however but can be fixed given time.)

Even hardware protected games (Dongle and such.) and applications get cracked (VBS and VBS2 by Bohemia.) for example so it's not impossible. Smile

Are we sure AC2 uses the same DRM as SH5?

Ubi said that SH5 AC2 POP and SCC will use same protection. If we can trust ubi words it has to be same

In terms of being more badass , I would definitely say Altair > Ezio. Ezio is way too "girlish" somehow...

Cracked Games Are Incomplete, Says Ubisoft
http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/53526/Cracked-Games-Are-Incomplete-Says-Ubisoft

A brief statement from Ubisoft has come through the wire, stating that cracked versions of Assassin's Creed II and Silent Hunter V: Battle Of The Atlantic are incomplete. In the case of Silent Hunter V this appears to be false. Ubisoft may therefore believe that the deactivation of their UPlay achievement system is grounds enough to call the subsim 'incomplete.'

Quote:
You have probably seen rumors on the web that Assassin’s Creed II and Silent Hunter 5 have been cracked. Please know that this rumor is false and while a pirated version may seem to be complete at start up, any gamer who downloads and plays a cracked version will find that their version is not complete.

A spot of clarification: Silent Hunter V: Battle Of The Atlantic has been scene cracked; Assassin's Creed II has supposedly been cracked by someone over in Russia. Applying the scene crack to your legally purchased copy of Silent Hunter V will give you a complete game. The Russian Assassin's Creed II code floating about may be missing the digitally distributed DLC, which would give the publisher another reason to bandy about the 'incomplete' accusation.
