Servers problems aside, BF BC2 is a fine addition to one's bought games collection. "Connards de Ubisoft" should learn from Dice a valuable lesson.

Ok, fuck this shit...I guess I'm waiting til they have it sorted out before I try to connect again for 5 minutes and then get kicked for a PB init failure because the server hasn't updated yet. -.-

I want to have connection problems too! Come on postman, be kind and deliver the goods early next week.
How's the retail treating you people with GTX260/275/280/285? Couldn't run beta maxed and now I see that even 9600gt has as good frames.
Still reading people with GTX295 having trouble, but obviously getting servers working is their main concern now.

well from what i read , it's server side..
Let's try now , got disconnected ( all servers reset few minutes ago ) so maybe they'd fix it !
edit : i'cant connect to any server for now

I have the console version, few questions:
Does the PC version have anti-aliasing support?
Is there Physix integration?
Is there better debris retention in the PC version?

AA is DX10 (prolly 11 too, i don't know) feature only.
I think this game uses havok instead of physx
And don't know, haven't played the console version.

if it used physx id be suprised if half of the destruction im in half the time wouldnt kill my pc... ill have to say its prob havok, but looks no diff than seeing physx in action as ur always trying to fooking duck the debri lol..
they made a good choice for how its done whatever the method.

They're having server issues (As is Ubisoft although unrelated but annoying.) but it's supposedly being looked into (If the main server is down for any reason, due to synchronizing methods and such I guess the rest disconnect.), been a few hours and as it's sunday I doubt the offices are fully staffed so it might be a while yet before it's fully corrected.
(Should have backup servers or something ready to avoid this but stuff like this always tend to happen after game release, still nothing compared to Ubisofts servers though I imagine as it renders the products using that system unplayable and it's been going on for a bit over ten hours now angering a lot of persons apparently, haha ah they never learn even from large beta tests or MP demos, heh.)

JBeckams spot on.
They just need some time to sort it.
All games are buggy, especially servers when a big game like this is released.
Although i agree it pisses me off too 
Single player looks ok but i bought this for strictly muliplayer.

The game sure likes to crash, at least for me. Crashed three times in a row trying to see server info. Then crashed by trying to refresh the servers (or get those infinite spinning wheel where you cannot do anything). Then crashed when our team was about to lose (i guess not that bad). Now crashed right after joining a server.
Anyways I think I found a bug. If you spawn an assault class (or any class) and then pick another class from a fallen enemy, whatever you do as that picked up class will still count towards your original class. Like I spawned as assault but then picked up engi, and all the points that i got by fixing a vehicle went toward my assault class.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Nope, just tried again as the sucker I am and nada...won't connect to nothing. And those I did manage to connect to are kicking me for PB init failure. |
