*Feature enabled might bring framerate to 0.3fps, but we feel this is still a small price to pay for such an important and totally necessary effect in a racing game with scenery moving very fast.

You left the small print out. Laughing

You don't need a new crack since the launcher ("dirt2.exe") is untouched after the update Smile
I can also confirm that the blur effect has been removed in dx9:

DiRT 3 in development

Quote:
Codemasters has confirmed that its working on the third in the Colin McRae: DiRT series.

The UK developer-cum-publisher didn't reveal any details of the game, nor formats, however - so we'll have to hold on tight for those.

In an interview with IGN surrounding the weather conditions in Codemasters' F1 2010, the game's chief designer said:

"One of the added benefits is that the weather system we've developed will now become part of the EGO engine so it can feed into all of our future projects such as DiRT 3."

ok so grabbed this for 5euros and I have to say it's really nice! A lot more like grid than dirt one... well except for all the dirt Laughing

The visual effects look nice though it sucks that I have to take part in so many derp races with american buggy baja crap or some race through some "arenas". There are not enough rally courses. They look great and they feel great!

innit dawg

I got this with my 5870 last year, and I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Honestly, it only has a few proper rally races, it drives like shit, and the AmeriDerp voice overs and shit are annoying as hell

GRID stands miles above this, in every aspect Smile
