Im trying to burn a 2 disc xvid movie with subtitles as a DVD using XtoDVD. i can easily merge the the videofiles into one title, but i cant figure out how to get the subs working.
Can anyone help me please?
Do you want to make your subtitles permanent or selectable? Selectable subs are harder to make because they have to be rendered first, then when the video is encoded, the subs have to be muxed into the VOB files, and the VOB has to be updated with the 4 colors for the subs. You can find tutorials on how to do all this in VideoHelp.com.
Easier would be to just encode the video with the subs on the video. For this, just use ffdshow to decode the video, and enable the subs filter.
