I think the demo is actually pretty dated.. at least graphically any way, and of course limited gameplay. The full game will be much better.

this game is GOTY for sure...theres so much stuff going around you, its unbelievable. And I just started. The action is relentless, the graphics are eyepopping, and the BGM is epic. And this is from a person that thought the demo was meh!

Wow the graphics in this are really something else*. Don't know how many of you remember the comment by (the original God of War Creator) David Jaffe, but it really is "like a painting come to life". The environments, particularly the living ones ( ), are unbelievably good... it looks so smooth and detailed as well, finally looks like the PS3 developers have gotten around the aliasing issues? Gameplay wise it's very familiar, even with the refinements and additions, but that's no bad thing in my book, but why oh why do we have to start all over again with the skill trees... it means you start out with no combo moves, again. New weapons fair enough, and you seem to get them quite soonish, but they still could have thought of a different way. Anyway must play more before commenting....
*if you though the E3 demo was good... crikey

It's the first god of war game for me, started this one on Hard, and damn it's hard, some fights took me more than 10 tries, gonna take more than 20 hours to finish it ^^
Really good game so far, great gfx and gameplay.

I'm having a blast on GOW3! The graphics truly are amazing, and ae even better then the old demo that was released last year.
My wife is also playing, and I missed Zues's statue, so I restarted on hard this time. Its tougher, and I'll die in boss battles a lot more often, but I wanna milk the experience as much as possible.
We bought the ultimate edition, and the pandora box is great! I just wish they'd cast it in clear plastic, so I could have but lights inside it.
Question: I'm down in hades, and ran across two explodable urns, just past the judges... are there hidden areas there they reveal?

Yeah its pretty good. But graphically uncharted 2 is better. But, being said.. The details in this are richer. If that makes sense.
