just a matter of time, i have the game in xbox360 only play for an hour , sames as first , i have a lot more fun with this DRM shit is not just reverse engineering a lot of debbuging needed and i think memory dump , i dont buy with this kind of protection and is not matter of money is matter of dignity sorry for my english

the protection is crackable, ubisoft said this a while ago and they also predicted the time needed to crack it but didnt say of course

Ubi already won this round. Even this thread is full of players that could´n wait.
Any crack, when it comes, it will only impact future games. That is if the same "workaround" can be used.
The real loss will come if this becomes the trend, or should I say when.

the worst fucking thing about this game is that I can't go back and replay missions. Can't go back and wander around Carnival without replaying the entire game up to that point. All you can load is your most recent savepoint.
Aside from the DRM, I can accept everything, but that sucks balls.

There is a partial workaround for this. Disable save synchronisation and make a backup of your saves folder once in a while. After you complete the game you can chose which backup to restore saves from.

It's easiest if you let your saves synchornize with the Ubisoft servers. You'll get your saves back after logging in again when you've switched to Win7.

That's what we all thought but when Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was finally cracked after a couple years. So you never know.

Yes, they are divided but you cannot access them. That´s why I saved the game regularly or.... as I say a few pages back, you can rename the *.tmp files to 2.save.

There will be more to it than just that, mate. Plus you should only really be posting info like that if you're pretty dam sure there IS a working crack.

Could you make some of those available? Primarily right before Carnival if possible. Don't know if they are tied to account, would love to check. If it turns out they are: fffffuuuuuuuuu

@chaingang23 Chaos Theory was cracked after 422 days, not after a couple of years.

Yeah, so far it's unnamed but it sound like it's gonna be an expansion maybe with multiplayer element and should get released early 2011.
