This might be a dumb question but, do you have to change an option to play this in dx10 mode?
If you have a DX10 card, it should select it automatically. To confirm you are in DX10, check to see if you can set AA more than x1 in advanced options.

Yeah it must be in dx10 mode as it is on x8.

Finding it alot better then xp atm
Lately I've found myself just playing squad deathmatch. Tends to be more teamwork for some reason. Conquest is just a bunch of idiots capturing points, leaving them immediately only to have the enemy capture them again. Haven't put much time into Rush yet. I'm also ashamed that my best weapon is the 40mm GL... i didn't think I used it that much. I mostly use it when I'm out of assault rifle ammo or when people are camping in a building. I just unlocked Abakan though so I finally have a useful assault rifle.

Great news, except loading times are still listed as a known issue in the release notes, and it says nothing about Vsync. Did anyone confirm this driver actually fixed those issues?
Gotland servers went bad, too much baseraping and clitching Guess it's time for other servers until there is good enough tools for admins/mods to kick/ban/give some server rules.
Auto balance at least working would be nice. Even teams a bonus. Last server had 30+ rank players on the other side and our side was averaging on 10.

Yeah haha they really need to do something about that. Also you shouldn't be able to give ammo to yourself.
I also think it's a bit silly how fast the Ammo crate reloads. You can throw them all over the place indiscriminately with no fear of consequence. if it's wasted, no biggy, you'll have another in a few secs.
Initially I wasn't aware they reloaded. When i found out I was blown away how quick they do.
lulz, last night on one server we got like 4-5 "Punkbuster bans for Aimbot etc etc" in less than an hour. PB is sure working

I really wish they would fix the server browser. It is the only thing holding the game back.
Today, a buddy and me were having a hard time finding a game that had punkbuster enabled. It would say it had it enabled (can't trust the search filter it sucks ass) in the little black arrow drop down thingie but then when you logged in. . . the little info box as the map is loading that tells you what is enabled on the server would be completely blank. Nothing would say "on". then we went in game and there would be people with 50 kills to 3 deaths.
Really sucked.
I also think they shouldn't allow a server to be ranked if it doesn't have punk buster enabled. As shittty as PB may be at times, it's worse without it imho.

The server info isn't really working. I had plenty servers today with no info on them. They do have PB on however I'm sure of it. Friendly Fire part is double bugged even if rest works. I've only seen FF=0, that would mean off, but it's on Don't know if it's 0 too for off, or just doesn't work at all.
Bigger problem about ranker servers is that you can be there all alone and get points. Round starts as soon as 1 player joins, which is silly. BF2142 had it on 4 or something like that and that would be perfectly fine min player number.
You could still go train on an empty server, but kills/points didn't matter.
Why the hell can't they make a decent server browser thats fast and works well? The one valve made for Half Life was fast as hell and *gasp* even remembered options you chose to filter out upon returning to the game, that was 12 years ago.
We already know they will nerf the M60 and the M1911 (well, they just tipped they will change them, but we can certainly assume they won't boost them).
Many complain about the Carl-Gustav, too. Only the sniper has no exclusive weapon that ppl complain about. people complain about their number, and how they happen to not help much winning a game.
