Love is a game that has been developed by a dev team of one: Eskil. It is one of the most, if not the most ambitious independent game projects ever conducted by a single person. Not only has the game including design, programming and art been developed by this single person, but also most of the tools and technologies making the game possible.
Beta is out and gonna give this a try

The highly unusual graphical style is interesting but not something I'd like to use in a game engine.
EDIT: the game was made by a single guy and I wouldn't expect him to shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars of his own money every month to let people play his game. In this case the money is needed to pay for the servers. Of course, he could have added some advertising solution but that would ruin everything really.

Eh, might just buy a month of it, it's only 10€ after all.
Edit: So I bought it and played a bit. VERY confusing, I have absolutely no idea what to do and how to do it.
Oh well.

Ok yeah, fuck this game. Bad, bad purchase. The game tells you how to walk, and that's pretty much it. I have no idea how to build, what buildings do, what the different tools do, how to use them etc. etc.

this is quite interesting, just montly fee is just fucked up for this type of game...
