PTP stands for Parallel Track Path. And what that means is that it reads from inside to outside on the first layer and then inside to the outside on the second layer, exactly the same in other words. The opposit to this is OPT which stands for Opposite Track Path (this is used for dvd's etc), OPT reads from the inside to the outside on layer1 and then from the outside to the inside on layer2. So it's nothing special, just a different approach to the standard OPT

In other words, it cant be cracked If some group somehow manages to crack it, they will have earned either the title "leet" as some would say, but I would just call them god

Why the fuking corporation used the CD/DVD protection ?? Many people test the pirated version before buying a original copy .

they use the corporation to stop people from pirating it, and so far they've done a good job you show me a cracked version and then I will laugh at them using the protection, but that ain't happening

Well, I for one am going to buy it on wedensday-payday. Good deal to me. However there is no such thing as impossible or the game can;t be made to work on a non silver or hd. I have been on computers since my first TRS-80. I have seen program after program come out, each year there was a new undefeatable anti copy system. All have been defeated in one way or the other. It was made by humans, the PS2 obviously reads the silver, it can be done. My father likes to tell me when i get cocky about coding or whatever new computer related thing im doing that there is ALWAYS someone smarter out there. I think before everyone goes off half-cocked they should remember that nothing is impossible. Ill have to check on the OTP PTP issue, I believe there is a few burners out there with firmware that will let ya do either PTP or OTP. I think it was a plextor, I dunno.

it will be cracked..just like everything else...one of the big boys will do it..will be a 2 dvd release...i for one dont care for grand turismo--just a boring racing game..no weapons, turbos, jumps...i need more action racing... Ok it will be a LONG time until the game is cracked... Look at the Japanese version that has been out for months, there is still no working rip of it... what makes anyone think the US/PAL versions will be cracked anytime soon? I just went out and bought the Japanese original, already 70% done with the game... just stop crying and go buy it... System : P4 3.0e (@3.5ghz), 1GB DDR400, OC'ed 6800 Ultra, 660GB storage, A08 DVDR, Creative s750 7.1, Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, etc...
