Question is, how many cores will be needed to get 30fps... Laughing
Admittedly though, rendering terrain is a lot easier on the card than buildings, so in 6, 9, 12 months when this arrive on the PC Laughing it will probably run better than GTA. Smile

I bet that an announcement will arrive in August, with the release date set at November. In September/October they'll say that "they need to fix up bugs" and it will arrive in December.

And they post completely blurry screenshots and say "our game supports AA" but then change their minds at the last second due to public outcry over the horrendous blur-o-rama. Laughing

I've seen all the recently released trailers and, as a great fan of Sergio Leone's western movies, I'm definitely impressed from what I've seen.

So a 6 months later PC version would be very appreciated Razz

So are there actually any real news if this coming to pc or probably not?
As Rockstar is the developer, they will probably port it to pc after 6-12 months, like they did with previous GTA titles.

Gaming magazine editors constantly pull stuff out of their asses - R* hasn't announced PC version anywhere so far.

Rockstar Games actually consists of 9 different studios - Rockstar North that has done all the GTA games isn't the one making RDR. It's Rockstar San Diego that's doing this one, their track record is pretty terrible tbh but this game still looks way better than GTA 4 was.

Rockstar fansite event:

http://grandtheftauto.ign.com/articles/features/5382/Episodes-from-Liberty-City-PS3-PC-Fansite-Event

About RDR: "....For those with ADD, hereโ€™s the bottom line: Red Dead Redemption might be the best game I play all year. Now, I am not someone who throws a statement like that around freely, so understand that it's not empty hyperbole coming from me. I played it for six hours all-told, split between single- and multi-player, and I felt like Iโ€™d only scratched the surface. The awesome thing about taking part in this event was that we were not given a restricted demo that consisted of a couple of select missions, like some press events. We were given all access to everything that was in that particular build (we were told it was not final code before we started playing)."

Also, no need to close this thread.Game will get a pc release holiday 2010 (October-December) or early 2011.

Thanks for the head-up fearwhatnow Smile

As for the PC version, has it already been unofficially confirmed?
(even if the standard "six-months-later-conversion" was quite predictable from the beginning)
