Hope they work hard to optimize the performance. At bare minimum it needs to match Risen. The seamless world aspect of the risen engine owns the previous ones.

Spellbound is famous for releasing alphas as retail,but hey its alpha and it runs in 20 fps on uberpc thats a cool story bro but why did they add this information,why should pc gamers care??? are pc gamers whores for fps scores ??

Remember the Doom 3 Alpha?, that really ran like crap compared to the final release
I'd guess the fps gets a mention due to Gothic 3's problems, the addon from Spellbound also had similar problems but that was probably due to it using the same engine
Hope the game turns out to be good, Gothic 3 was such a big letdown after the first two

Addon from Spellbound?
Gothic 3's addon was not from them but from a Indian third party studio.
(Spellbound worked with Community Patch 1.5 or so however fixing a couple of hundred memory leaks and similar.)

Must have got confused when it was announced that Forsaken Gods would be made by a different team and assumed that it was Spellbound
My lack of interest probably didn't help either

Eh, I want to cut me up some goths.
Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

I also forgot to mention that its way better than lord of the rings, king arthur or other movies i cant remember right now !
So go watch it while you wait for the next installment of Gothic !

Liked ? Love it! I saw it 7 times and i'm listening to its soundtrack for 6 hours now, so i just had to come here and share my crap with you. Teh true warrior spirit with so much soul put into it.. oh wait.. must return to sanity.

What bullshittery is this. They're taking away one of the biggest features (Open World) of Gothic? I must of spend 3/4th of the previous games just exploring without doing any quests. I don't have an FU image angry enough to convey this.

i really hope they change the existing gothic formula a bit. As good as Risen and Gothic were, they are just more of the old gothic without much improvement in the game mechanics itself. It gets kinda boring after all those games. That US/EU colorscheme is weird, btw.
